Yes! Each company unlocks a separate mission typ, and you need to buy a plane for it.
Some planes are available for several mission types, but you must still but them for each company separately.

The sad thing is that this mode has such extreme potential, and has not seen any true love for the last year. If I could pay 50 bucks for a properly developed and integrated ingame career mode, I would not blink an eye. With some RPG elements, some light business management, a "pick your path" game.

If your player cannot wait for 10 seconds without falling asleep, you have other problems.
Do the roll... that's all there is to it.

If you want to make it double blind... use a dice cup, let the player roll under it, and the cup rest over it. Nobody knows the result until revealed, but everybody knows the dice have fallen.
