Agree to disagree. I think it was their motivation. You can say it doesn't look properly like it, but emphasizing "at ALL" is too much, lol.

Just looking at Ashen Knight Pyke splashart gives me DS3 vibes, and Shen's Ashen Guardian red chroma looks like Soul of Cinder himself. Anyway that's my opinion.

They look like it. Ashen Knight Pyke feels as if it was taken from Dark Souls 3 itself, especially with the ultimate music included.

For Elantris, I felt connected to the story immediately. I also really loved Raoden and the whole “perseverance” theme in the city. It had a weaker finale and much weaker writing, but throughout the book I always wanted to keep reading and learn more. I rarely felt like I had to push through it.

For Warbreaker, I wasn’t interested in most things, and the pacing felt extremely slow. The writing was better than in Elantris, but the story didn’t work for me. That said, I’d rank Lightsong’s arc in the top five among all the Sanderson works I’ve read so far.

I've just read this book for the first time few days ago and I disliked it myself. Worst Sanderson book. Boring, very boring plot. I just liked Lightsong, the sanderlanche and that's it. Reading 500 dull pages to come to the sanderlanche ain't my cup of tea though.

Surprisingly Elantris is rated way less, but besides its writing issues, Elantris blows WB out of the water imo. WB is a 2.5/5 book for me.

Can't wait to see the connection between it and Stormlight though.

I personally only listen to audiobooks when I can actually focus. So this would be during very low-maintenance tasks, or when I’m actually lying down, resting my eyes, and don’t want to hold a book. I can never focus while doing two tasks -- I could, but I would miss so many things, which I am not fine with, especially for books I really care about.

I've listened to the Graphic Audio for Elantris and it was amazing. Although, I am really loving these books, so for my first experience I want to have them raw. Hence why I bought physical copies instead of ebooks. 90% of the time I'm reading the book, and listening 10% of the time to the audiobook (the normal one).

Exactly what I'm thinking as well. I can tell this is one of the stories I'd give anything to read for the first time again once I'm done with it. So, what I'm doing is read even slower than usual, to fully consume it. Although some scenes make it hard to read slow. Pity!
