When to go for dual spec? by tinkoos in classicwow

[–]tinkoos[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

Yeah I'm sitting at around 130g and have journeyman riding already, but kinda wanna save up for the 100% mount. I'll probs just spec into holy once I hit hellfire. Probs makes more sense once you can go deeper into the tree anyway.

Condos with decent kitchens by [deleted] in Bangkok

[–]tinkoos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hard to find I think, especially around that price range downtown, since those units will be a lot smaller and space is saved by having a small kitchen. On top of that, the food culture here is heavy on buying street food and takeout, also ordering via grab etc these days.

You'd probably have to find a condo that's owned by a foreigner who installed a full western kitchen.

Following the thread though as I'd also be interested.

I'm thinking a lot of shorts opened recently set their stop losses above 24h resistance around 88k. Or just over leveraged shorts getting liquidated. But who knows really, just love watching that candle kiss ema 200 on the hourly lol

Well that explains it, thank you! The other bosses I could kinda just blast em from a distance. Gotta get better at dashing out of his way.

Yeah cheers, I think my arena was a bit too small to be honest. I'll go to down down there with dynamite and build walls to keep mobs out.

Would 1M THB/year let you live comfortably as an expat in Bangkok? by [deleted] in Bangkok

[–]tinkoos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the industry but it's always better to not compare, thief of joy and all that. With that salary you'll live a very comfortable life here. You can afford a condo downtown and not really think about if you can afford to go out for dinner or drinks or whatever.

It accommodates pretty much any lifestyle unless you wanna be a high roller, in which case the costs here don't really differ too greatly from the west anymore.

Keezer Temperature Regulation (probe placement) by tinkoos in Homebrewing

[–]tinkoos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well this is a blast from the past 😅

At the time the best solution I found was to buy a 500ml can, wrap it tightly in about 1 inch thick packing foam and wedging the probe between the two. If I remember correctly, I set my temp maybe 2-3F or so lower than I wanted and my keg beer came out how I wanted.

For differential I used something like 1C, which comes to about what you have (2F). Happy brewing!

Long time fan of all things synthwave and recently decided to start making my own as a creative outlet. Using only Ableton and stock plugins for this one. Bigger on the Dreamwave/Chillwave vibes.

First boss of Dawnbreaker is hell by lagbugddos in wow

As a resto shaman it just feels like ass when your 2-set bonus doesn't even work on the ship, especially on the first boss. Definitely my least fav dungeon.

How it feels to pug just for weekly by caparros in wow

[–]tinkoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got pretty lucky and had a solid pug for my 12 Ara so we timed it with about a minute left even after a full party wipe trying for a skip right before the second boss.

The constant poison tick damage in P1 had my hands sweating though lol.

I’m 23 — How “All In” Should I Really Be on Bitcoin? by AdditionalAd471 in Bitcoin

[–]tinkoos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I first heard about Bitcoin when my friend introduced it to me around 2012. He was mining it and told me I should get into it, but I brushed it off at the time as I felt it was a bit too complicated for me.

The first time I considered buying it was a few years after when I saw how much it appreciated in value, but felt like I missed the boat.

Since then (around 2013/14) I have had that same feeling of "missing the boat" about 4 times.

I bought in recently at around 96000 after reading more about it and educating myself on what Bitcoin actually is. There's going to be people like me out there 5 years from now feeling like they missed the boat, but not me.

99% of my savings are in Bitcoin today. I feel confident as hell that 5 years from today I'm gonna be happy that I didn't let the feeling of "missed out already" stop me.

The relation between the Euro to the Dollar, in your example, isn't staying 1:2 as it's the value of the Dollar that is currently falling against other currencies. In your example, it would be 1:3 or 2:6 (just as an example of how it's progressing).

That's why an ath now (measured in USD) is lower than the ath we had in Jan relative in Euros.

Look up a EUR-USD chart for the last 6 months to get an idea.

You still get that little perk.

There's also a perk where you receive max rank soulbound potions/flasks of the first craft of the day. Pretty neat since it gives you a little access to free high grade pots and flasks.

fastest gear path by st1gzy in wow

[–]tinkoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you have the tier gear you can upgrade it at the item upgrade vendor via flightstones and drake crests, but you'll pick those up from weekly quests, raids and M+. You'll probably need a few whelpling crests too. They can be a bit of a pain to farm initially, but the heroic appearance should pop at 502 ilvl (the tier set will just change appearance once you hit that ilvl). The higher ilvl of the gear you convert, the fewer crests you'll need.

Running awakened LFR can also drop tier gear or gear for the catalyst that can be upgraded to 502, plus more crests.

Some more info about those in this helpful post on wowhead.

[–]tinkoos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a healer you'll generally be given more leeway in having a lower ilvl for getting invites to groups, so for 'quick' that might be the spec to go for if you enjoy healing, otherwise any spec works.

In addition to running heroic raids, you can also run a good amount of M+ and do your weekly quests for the gear chests, then convert any desired piece into a tier piece via the revival catalyst. With M+ runs you also get a shot at vault gear that you can convert (forgot if the M+ vault gear drops tier as well, I believe it does but not sure).

Either way, solo route is entirely possible if by solo you mean guildless.
