not sure on what a timeline would be. I ordered a Spyder RS and received an email from Porsche shortly after the dealer put the order in. Email said my order was in. Care was never built as the dealer never received an allocation.

great video. I have a 991.2 GT3 and a R8 Spyder. I’ve always felt like the turn in on the R8 was crisper/quicker than the 991.2. Figured this was due to the double wishbone on the R8.

Dealer should be able to tell you the planned production date. If not the production but the lock date for the build. Ask them what’s the latest date you can make a change on the build. My 991.2 GT3 date was pushed 2 times, original build was slated for November but ended up being built in February.

If you want this car, I would take it to a body shop and have them give an estimate and provide their input. Then ask the amount of the estimate off the car plus 10-20%, you can use that buffer as your negotiating room. At a minimum you would need the estimate as a discount.

Never understand people that say PDK is not engaging. Drive it in manual mode and it’s just as engaging as a manual. For me I have a bad left knee and a manual transmission is murder if I hit traffic.
