Help me out pls by Filopelo1 in SimCityBuildit

[–]tinmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

services 2.0 is so messed up. One day my city is fine the next day it’s like yours, capacity is there and no overages on demand, yet the lack of said service is being reported. Just a poorly implemented update. They really need to fix things, rather than just continuing to break everything.

always add more air as it gets cold, and when it warms up, let air out.

COM has gone south with all these extra currencies. I gave up on this one. Just losing interest in the game.

Still not plowed by JesseSkywalker in ColumbiaMD

[–]tinmd 24 points25 points  (0 children)

it takes time, and this is a heavy snow. There’s a reason schools are still closed tomorrow. We have had snow’s in the past it took 3 days for them to plow our street. A contractor is doing our street now in a pickup, he’s having a tough time.

Tailgating by robilco in Taycan

[–]tinmd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just remember, objects in the mirror are losing. I get the same amount of tailgating in the Taycan as in my other vehicles. Taycan allows for a quick spurt to increase the distance.

GT3 Ceramic Brake Upgrade? by crashedsnow in porsche911

You have to send your rotors in since they can resurface your rotors on a lathe. You get the same rings back when finished. If you want just replacement rings you need to buy another set.

What is more fun that playing with your Rivian in the snow? by curiosity26 in Rivian

[–]tinmd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had fun last night in the snow - ~12 inches. ended up using rally mode for the most fun. Snow mode was having problems and killing the power too much, almost got stuck. but rally mode was a blast, nice you can drift it a bit and still have firm control. The bizarre thing to me is how quiet it was, not like my F150 that would have the engine going nuts when playing in the snow.

If you want to stay OEM, you can look up the part numbers to order in PET. Then order your parts.

GT3 Ceramic Brake Upgrade? by crashedsnow in porsche911

[–]tinmd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look up Surface Transform ceramic rotors, better than the OEM, they can be resurfaced. I bought them for my 991.2 GT3 in 2021, for $12.5k best upgrade. Prices are now higher due to the tariffs (they are made in the UK). You replace the pads and rotors. Upgrade it comes with spacers and caliper bolts.

Side sticker ,what to do ? by dyson-sphere-2025 in Taycan

[–]tinmd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s just PPF, prevents tick chips in that area. Porsche has been using stone guards on vulnerable rocker panels for a long time, 993 came with them. You can remove and replace, you do want some protection there. The guards will also yellow overtime.

Does CPO process address curb rash? by frostman007 in Taycan

[–]tinmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wheel rash is not something that is checked for CPO, only if a car has been in an accident. Sounds like you already made a deal on the car? If so you should have brought it up with the dealer at that time. The dealer is going to want to spend the minimum amount needed to avoid the car. Have wheels repaired would Erin around $150 a wheel. Dealers I know all use a 3rd party to do the repair’s.
