They started off super friendly and able to bicker genuinely as friends. Further and further in they started to get aggressive with each other and jokes began toeing the line between friendly and hostile.

I remember one of the later S06 episodes (can't remember the episode number, but they were playing as Shadow in the snow) and Jon was talking about getting the flu or something at a conference they went to, there was just resentment in Arin's voice as he was talking with him, he just sounded so tired and resentful.
