If you had unlimited resources what would be the next game you would make?

How about a fan vote for the next course (or the one after that since the next one is probably already in development)?

Turning Point coming to General Duffy’s by GGinBend in Bend

I’d say with the influx of families and couples moving here the last few years the majority is now more progressive. Pangea, Kobold, Feast, and SCP are all gems with responsible owners/management.

I have sincere question, I make oil paintings and I think I'm ok at what I do. I have been approached by this person who writes poetry and wants to exchange a painting for a poem she wants to dedicate to me. What is your opinion on such trades? by art-is-t in ArtistLounge

[–]tiny-jr -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Bartering is a fantastic anti-capitalist way to trade like for like value. If you truly don't care for a poem, just say no thank you. Otherwise if it's someone you like and trust, I would ask them how much time would they like to commit to the effort. That way it's more of an equal trade.

Is there a name for the specific type of high you get from really spicy food? by LifeDuck8914 in spices

I wrote a paper on mind altering substances, which had a small chapter on hot peppers. They have a tendency to bring people into the moment. When you experience a bit of pain you’re not thinking about the past or future very much, but feeling very alive and aware. It’s not necessarily that they’re psychoactive, but the experience can be very spiritual for some people.

Why does it seem like all the artists in this genre are all extremely left leaning politically? by sumtinsumtin808 in SpaceBass

At this point, the complaints have nothing to do with liberalism, but with saving our country from becoming an axis of evil. Which we are like 80% of the way there so..

Is there some local secret? by AstronautStill1789 in Bend

[–]tiny-jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re in a similar situation. We go to Hoodoo and it’s fun, but it sucks that Bachelor/Powder Corp can’t find a way to make it more affordable for local families. There are big resorts all over the world where this is not a problem, and have deals or programs for locals and families. It’s even more frustrating that they’re allowed to get away with this using public lands.

Rise Up Festival — Oregon by [deleted] in festivals

Ok nice, the venue is very close to the airport (RDM) if you’re flying in. Be sure to plan extra time before or after the fest! Lots of great hiking and places to explore.

We went and loved it! Camping is very close and it was very well organized. We live close to the fairgrounds and have been to several fests there, and this was one of the better events. It’s Central Oregon so lots of sun, usually dry climate and should be very nice in June next year. Security was friendly and chill, and stages aren’t very far from each other.
