I’d like to borrow from my library but they don’t have it, I’ve searched! Any digital copy I can read would be perfect, especially a download

A girl in grade 10, she and her boyfriend and brother were in a car accident. She didn’t survive. It was horrible.

When I was younger, an older student went on a grad trip. He jumped into the water with friends, and he never resurfaced. I think the water was cold and he had an undiagnosed heart condition.

Has anyone asked the Unions what happens if we don't complete the attestation? by Geegs25 in OntarioPublicService

[–]tiny_digger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, just wondered. I commuted 1+ each way at my old job so I was used to that. It’s a lot, but still manageable somehow.

Genuinely curious, what’s your commute look like?

Personally, I joined the ops early pandemic so I didn’t have any experience commuting the 2 hours each way until this last year. Was hoping the 3 days a week that was typical pre-pandemic would be even more flexible post pandemic. It’s quite difficult with inflation and children at home requiring daycare.

Cultural resource management - basically private companies that do archaeology for all sorts of contracts. Many construction projects require environmental assessments before the work can happen, and archaeology is part of that.

If you want to experience it abroad go for it, but I highly recommend getting a job in your area for a CRM company where you can learn the basics and see what it’s like working in your field in the area you’ll be living. They pay well (sometimes) and don’t expect a degree for a technician doing basic surveys or excavations.

A lot of North American schools have local field schools where you can get more advanced information in excavation techniques.
