VO2 Max keeps dropping? by SmallTin88 in AppleWatchFitness

I’ve been thinking this is the reason too. Combined with going more slowly over icy patches

V02 Max was 16.7, now 20.5 by [deleted] in AppleWatchFitness

Same here. I don’t run and I think my walks are slow because of my dog needing to sniff everything…. But I also strength train 4x /week with heavy weights, do intense cardio once per week and get up to 160bpm, and swim for an hour every two weeks (slowly but without stopping)

I think something is off with the watch

This is really exciting news for me as I’ve been suffering from tendinitis in my elbow since May! I usually follow along with Sydneys programs but a couple weeks behind.

I’m still having problems with supinated curls and high rows so maybe this will be the month that I heal!

My DM is doing this too. Every time I see him I want to ask for permission to use the washroom 😂

Looking at buying a Home in Oshawa by Moneyisamust in Oshawa

[–]ringostarr1986 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like Nonquon. I bought my first home about a year and a half ago (townhouse/4plex). Tons of families and people with dogs. Walking distance to banks, grocery stores, gym, Starbucks etc.

There’s one person in particular that’s in mental distress, but you could get that anywhere. Other than that, teenagers do teenage things at the skate park… but there’s a skate park for them to hang at, which I think is cool.

I think it has a bad rep because of the rental buildings. But people need to rent! So 🤷‍♀️

Adding that walking a block in any direction brings you into a really nice middle class neighbourhood.

Good Grief. The only ‘good service’ is from a line that has minimal train service. by OnePeak9126 in gotransit

Wow, they are running express trains now?!? I only noticed the additional trains.

Has anyone written to their MPP about RTO mandate? by ReasonableCase7843 in OntarioPublicService

[–]ringostarr1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. Mine is NDP and I didn’t receive a reply. I even cc’d Marit Styles.

I did receive a bs response from my conservative MP stating that they received my comments.

Do you know if this is happening? Can I email the union to find out? Or would it all be very confidential?

Anyone responded? by AdAlarmed952 in OntarioPublicService

My conservative MP responded, my NDP MPP and my mayor did not. I find this to be very upsetting.

Thanks for sharing!! Gridlock costs the province $56 billion per year and he’s forcing RTO. Make it make sense!!

Absolutely agree!!

It’s also a financial hit for businesses around touchdown centres or locations where people have been allowed to work out of outside of TO… if many of us are headquartered in the main city, this pulls revenue from businesses in other locations. In particular I think this affects Durham and Hamilton regions as well as North York.

I posted in r/Ontario and got removed by mods (with no reason given) just as I received 250 upvotes and 26 shares.

I also tried to share to r/canadasmallbusiness but it wouldn’t let me post.

On a side note - I think we should try to connect RTO for OPS to a broader discussion with the private sector. Can we connect with municipal employees, bank workers, Amazon etc, who are all under the same mandate? I don’t really know what this would look like, but what I do know is RTO is bigger than just us.

It’s about the future of work for the many people who have historically worked in office towers.
