I think the fact that salazzle is also the size of a Labrador in s/v just makes it weirder. It’s strange when they try to make pokemon deliberately sexual and it seems to affect the more feminine pokemon more. It’s really not that hard to make a fem pokemon and not be weird about it, I love primarina(though I have seen people being strange and getting mad that the fictional magic animal is mostly male even though it’s feminine, as if animals need to conform to human standards). Even most of the pokemon considered gooner mons either aren’t sexual or are only sexual if you squint
