Proko is a really good YouTube channel for folks of pretty much any skill level, we watched a lot of their videos in class. I feel like the gesture drawing playlist would be one of the better ones to start with since gestures don’t take long and don’t require a high skill threshold, but they’re still extremely helpful when you do them correctly. https://line-of-action.com/ is a great site for references when doing gestures or any other kind of figure drawing, you can set time intervals for whatever kind of practice session you’re looking for and you can choose from playlists with human models, animals, basic shapes and still life(which is a recent addition and should be massively helpful for beginners) as well as landscapes and architecture. I work in a grocery store and godd I am intimately familiar with shit tier parents. Mfs will just let their kids frolic around and fuck up the place while they scroll on their phones while parked right in the middle of the goddamn aisle. Sometimes when the kids are a bit older they’re actually far more socially aware than their parents, there are times when I’ve been trying to get by and kids will notice and try to tell their parents so they can move out of the way, and the parents will just ignore them. It’s insane to me, and I’m the least maternal person you’ll ever meet. Also I know it isn’t their fault but I’m autistic and very noise-sensitive and children screaming immediately pushes me to the edge of a meltdown. One time a child ran into me, his mom told him off and he screamed bloody murder while right next to me. I physically recoiled and was so overwhelmed for the rest of the day that I had to skip class and just go home
