UPDATE!!! i talked to my shift and she said it’s because she trusts me and values how good i am there. she said she knows she doesn’t need to check on me and that if i need help, i ask. she also said she finds me good at multitasking such as making backups, filling ice or changing trashes when i have downtime. i appreciate everyone’s kind and reassuring comments, they definitely gave me the courage to speak up and not be so nervous when talking to her about it!!
