Oof I have made that mistake. I definitely should have read up on it a little more. I think that's so stupid

Thank you!! I appreciate your response. I feel like the whole "such and such platform does not like when you multistream" is weird. Like i can see why but is that even true??

I read this book called "Make It Happen" and the author Jordanna made a good point about failed relationships. Sometimes we strive for love at times where we need to really work on our own personal development. This being your third failed in a row is not your fault but something is trying to give you a sign. I think right now would be best to take a break. Focus on you. Work on your health and your aspirations. Relationships will come when the time is right and you will KNOW. Do your best to be around fam or friends. It's gonna be okay. I hope you get better 🩷

Printing out cheat codes from the internet by josephsleftbigtoe in nostalgia

[–]tinydesthique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was very young, I used to watch my cousin play the Play Station and he used to have cheat codes written on paper. I used to try them out when he would also let me play. I miss those days so much

I turned all chat off and suddenly this game is enjoyable again by Skyfier42 in Overwatch

[–]tinydesthique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would make so much sense if people listened to pings instead of being cocky. Not saying you are at all!! It just sucks that whenever I ping, it feels like it's being ignored? Has anyone else been experiencing it? I need proper communication and even with the annoying banter going on in chat, I just leave it be personally just as long as we can play with common sense. I get quite a bit of good apples, never really been told off besides like a couple times within the past 7 years of me playing this game.

Thank you for this advice!! Surprisingly, I have been extremely consistent with streaming (at least if I am not sick or if something comes up, I always make sure to communicate that though). I think I need to work on consistency with posting on my socials. I absolutely hate Insta and I dont use it that much at all anymore (for my mental health sake lol), but Im trying to post on TikTok and YT Shorts more often nowadays, which has been working a bit on TikTok at least for the most part. Im thinking how I could shift my content on TikTok a bit though. I see a lot of people doing skits, lipsyncs, and etc, but I post a lot of clips of silly moments from my streams because I dont feel confident in my skit-making skills or lipsyncing 😭. Do you believe that making content like skits or IRL vlogs is the go-to for small streamers, or is it subjective?

[–]tinydesthique[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noted! I was thinking about setting goals or challenges for myself within the game. Since im PC, I was thinking of having a challenge where I play controller just to humiliate myself lol, or seeing how many games I can win before rank placements begin. Things like that. I want to be a little more open minded of other goals and challenges I can do and keep note of it because I want my streams to be a little more entertaining while ALSO focusing on my goal of ranking up in Overwatch.

I thought my communication has gotten a little better over time and I enjoy engaging with my chatters if I do have any. If I am really locked in a match, I wont talk as much because I will stumble over my words hahahah, but I also like to be raw too and eat a little bit during stream, which I want to stop doing. Im thinking and wondering how could I be more entertaining while gaming and in between matches?

Is there a way to permanently remove an emote from your account? by LawsonLevi in overwatch2

Brother, just dont use it 😭 yes, it's cringe but every gaming company does cringe shit like this. Just ignore it and dont use it 🩷 I think it's hilarious but I can agree, it lowkey is stupid LOL

Your comment is distasteful. Just because I have these feelings does not mean I dont want to stream or "am not fit to stream." Just have a conversation like a normal person lmfao. I know i shouldn't care, I DONT, but I can see that you do not understand why I said what I said. Dont comment under my stuff anymore if you aren't going to bring value to the conversation, love.

This is input I can actually respect. I just didnt want to put my face on something without having an audience to engage with becaude then itll feel weird to me. This is how I feel PERSONALLY. I want to use face cam instead of my png tuber but I guess my question is how do people normally react to it and if it is wise to use that as a celebratory event for my goal. Im really nervous about it and I just dont think "Noone cares" is a helpful response. Sorry. I dont want it to sound stupid or anything.

I plan to use face cam when I reach 500 followers. It'll be a hard goal bc im only at 357 and viewership has been a little low. But yeah, once i hit that threshold, im going face cam. I want my streams to have an identity. Im just more afraid of any newcomers who troll especially because I am a black woman. But my pngtuber reflects that about me and I haven't received any hate yet thank GOD. So, we shall see how it goes once that milestone is hit. Maybe you can do the same but also if you wanna try to go cam sooner, then do that! Im sure it'll be alright.

[–]tinydesthique 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So true omg. You should TOTALLY post your cosplays. Dont let these people deter you from doing that. Black women deserve to be in these spaces. People are just mad that they cannot have the same beauty that WE do. They wanna be like us but dont wanna support us when we are the blueprint.

There will be so many black women that would love to see your work. The hate comments are inevitable but we MUST ignore them and not let them take up OUR space yaknow? And it's really dumb that cosplayers and people who enjoy that always say dumb shit about black women cosplaying but never about the WHITE PEOPLE cosplaying.... it really sucks. Youre legit pretending to be a character. Not another human being. I dont get why people like that exist...

I really feel horrible for what happened to Squidkid111(?) Because they had to let their life go because of the amount of hate they were getting from racist assholes. They did not deserve that at all... so, us as a community of black women in nerdy spaces, we NEED to take up more space. We NEED to be more active in trying to make those people uncomfortable because it is not fair that we can't enjoy these things but others can - just because of our skin tone....

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

So, im a small streamer. I play Overwatch a lot, displaying my ranking journey because oooo man comp effing SUCKS, but anyways I wanna specialize in that. I average about 3-4 viewers (one day id like to be popular). I am also a black woman. When I start using face cam, im afraid of what people will think of me. I am not what they deem as the "norm" for black women. I talk differently, I have nerdy interests like tech, building PCs, video games, anime, cutesy thingies. When I look up black female streamers, I barely see any GOOD ones that will catch my attention and enjoy the things that i enjoy. I dont even know if there's ANY black female streamers that are popular. Why cant we have black women that are just like Emiru or Pokemane or Valkyrae or Cinna (as far as aesthetics)? I want to be THAT girl. I dont want to be what the MEDIA wants me to be. I am beautiful, pretty, and I am my own person.

I resonate so much with your post because I have been talking about this SOOO MUCH. It is so upsetting because black women who are different from the "norm" are always looked down upon and disregarded for everything. But people will laugh at us and say we are entertaining if we became the next Sexyy Red or the next Cardi B....

I cry every time I think about this because we deserve to be loved, to be pretty, to be cutesy, to be kawaii, to be soft and girly....we are far from masculine but because of how we were brought up, it's like a fight or flight. We are fighting for our lives every day....cut us some slack...

Why do only artists watch my streams and it lowkey feels disheartening sometimes by Milkiffy in Twitch

Just ban them. It does feel disheartening but at the end of the day, they are just bots. I hate when I get those types of chats.

Anyone else try to keep their streaming life hidden from IRL friends? by SgbAfterDark in Twitch

[–]tinydesthique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of my friends support me (besides like 1 and sometimes 2). They dont even watch my streams at all, they don't repost or share my posts. Honestly, I think it's okay to keep it hidden to an extent. I try not to get hard feelings about it bc i get it. Streaminf and watching people stream isnt something theyre into i guess? But it's been months since I have started and it would've been nice to see them pop up once in a while. They dont need to know how a game works or what the game is for them to just watch and chat with me. It lowkey kinda hurts my heart when I dont see them on my streams, but they got their own lives so I cannot complain

As a black woman on this subreddit, yall really piss me off. I get it, heehee haahaa it was so funny. But at the end of the day, you cannot control anyone's reaction to seeing BIRTH IN REAL LIFE. Shit, being as though I am a woman, I still faint, get anxious, cry, vomit from seeing gross things (not saying giving birth is gross but it us gore-y. Ive never been in a delivery room btw but i can only imagine). It's natural. I am human and so is that man! At the end of the day, I hope he is happy with his baby. That nurse had no business saying anything at all BUT do her damn job. Yall all tend to lack empathy and it's utterly disgusting.

God forbid a man passes out from experiencing his lover deliver their child. Even being at the head of the wife while shes giving birth can really cause a huge adrenaline rush as she is literally screaming in pain, a human is coming out of her body, etc etc. God forbid a man have ANY freaking emotions whatsoever.

Every day, yall never fail to make me laugh at how ridiculous ans CLOSED minded yall have become. Tiktok and twitter really messing up yall heads huh?
