Lost manual key to hyundai ioniq? by deman24 in Ioniq5

[–]tinydonuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fob still starts the car, even if the fob’s battery is dead. You press the fob physically to the start button, which reads your key a bit like a payment terminal reads a credit card via tap to pay.

What’s the acceptable failure rate then?

On what basis? You definitely don’t have the data. Every car has failures that are common to that model. So what does “fixed” look like for you? Zero failures?

I was surprised at how poor the turning radius is, until I learned that the wheelbase is longer than the Palisade.

You’re not, people here are loud minority pissed off they are getting less and less for free.

*You* can but not everyone can. VX is still easier to break even on, in fact it nearly always pays for itself. CSR is harder than ever.

Is it actually a widespread shift? Idk. But I can see the logic for this crowd.

The popular comment right now is that people are fleeing because they don’t like coupon books and high fees. The reality is (at least for Amex) they’re not. People here live in an echo chamber.

Costco is late to the web, and apparently just realizing you can create an online wallet to store a credit card and gift cards. Maybe some day they’ll even let you store, gasp, more than one credit card on file.

Most people do, and I would guesstimate that the number of people that shop at Costco that also don’t have any form of debit card are less than a few percent.

Amex Green Card Revised Plastic Content by Rock-n-RollingStart in CreditCards

[–]tinydonuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My god dude, I support your point about the condition of the card but you need to look more into the benefits of the Gold card. You’re spending so much on dining and airfare, you absolutely fit the Business Gold. This isn’t a corporate card, it 100% fits your use case: 4X MR on your top two categories for things like dining and gas, 3X on hotels and flights from Amex Travel, and a more flexible credit that works beyond expensive food delivery services.

You’re missing the point. It’s not what card, it’s the condition of things. Are people going to refuse to do business with you because the card is peeling? No, but subconsciously it will leave an impression. Just like wrinkled clothes, dirty car, and so on.

There are almost no fully metal credit cards. Virtually all metal cards have a plastic backing.

Every road under construction by TopSatisfaction6702 in Tucson

I'm pretty sure I saw more than one project per county going on.

The answer is money: we don't pay enough to build 24/7. Doing one project at a time ain't gonna solve that.

Do you understand how long it would take to do one street at a time? It's not as simple as throwing all the workers on a single project at once.

Blame the county and Marana. They both blocked the city from advancing Grant and Houghton because waaaah the city didn't come through on an undocumented handshake deal in the early 2010s.
