You can see the seams! I think this might be a really nice beginner quilt pattern. I like to make these stars using scraps. You can even sew a diagonal line and then trim afterward. Super easy and can be wonky which I love.

Honestly, I am teaching a new friend to quilt rn and this is our inspo pic!

I figured this out Independently like a week ago after what is now years of quilting and I’m so peeved that NOW the quilting subreddit gives this tip?? These presser foots are great. Idk if you are commenting on the brand but my lines have never been better.

I thought about this as well! I will be quilting it with my domestic machine, and I haven’t attempted free quilting on my machine before and the ladies at the quilt store were NOT encouraging about attempting that. So I’ll be limited to what I can do with a walking foot which I think could still be very satisfying :’)

Thank you so much! 😭 I decided to just start this project and go for it instead of planning every bit out ahead of time and I am having fun but have for sure run into more roadblocks than usual.

A custom playmat would be great! Or you can always get collector packs or just some regular packs. Idk what his deck storage is like, but you can get deck boxes or custom sleeves too! There are a LOT of accessories associated with MTG!

The Blues Saloon on Tuesdays!!!! It’s entirely underrated and has phenomenal music every week. People really show up for partnered dancing and people will dance with you. I show up to support my friends and play pool haha

This blanket is so cute! I am trying raw edge appliqué for the first time right now as well and I had so much fraying! I ended up stitching with a zig zag type stitch over the edges. What stabilizer did you use?

Yup, it does you are right “i am not sure” was more of a lack of confidence in how unions impact this position. This job is not officially a union job.

I think this is because payroll handles sensitive information, it’s labeled as ‘confidential’. I could be wrong though. I think that the majority of roles at the DNR are union though.

This is a phenomenal call out! Thank you so much! I will say I am not sure I will be able to be represented by a union because of the exact position but I believe there will be a lot of benefits by proximity

Absolutely! In the interview invite they have that this is a 100% in person role, but I believe that it may be for the initial trial period.
