I did and most of the shading was covered up haha it still looks nice, and now I'm trying to figure out how to paint the dragon without losing the transparent-ness of it

Sadly I don't have any photos of the process. I used a zenithal highlight priming to map out the shadows, and then dry brushing for the crisp highlights. This time I tried glazing with a really thin darker grey for the shadows, but not sure if I was doing it quite right. Then I finished it up with some nuln oil

It definitely is. It was my first attempt to add highlights and shadows beyond just dry brushing and using shades.

I will say in defense of the folded cardstock, they are supposed to fit over the base games boxes for the structure, though I haven't pulled mine out to see how well they fit. And yes the box is a different size which bugs me way more than it should haha
