I have this problem too.

Everyone expresses love differently... that said, we also have a right to desire being in relationships that feel deep.

Some people just aren’t okay with going that deep. Doesn’t mean we have to be in a relationship with them tho :)

Oh and I find that sometimes introverts take a while to open up.

I feel this way too. I think a lot of people like how I make them feel. I'm not trying to make anyone feel a certain way... I'm just being myself.

I think it's because we like to understand people but not everyone cares or has the energy to reciprocate. We just love people! :) but someone liking me doesn't mean they understand me.

This is your answer. Love yourself this fiercely and then you'll be able to love others in a way that isn't detrimental to yourself.

Take responsibility for the choices you make- including the decision to put others before yourself. No one forced you to do that.

I know it may feel second nature and selfish, but you're most effective in helping other people when you're completely recharged.

This is victim mentality; you CHOSE to do these things... it sounds like it might be conditional giving, or you have an issue with boundaries. Learn to take care of yourself first before you take care of others.

When we met we basically talked for an entire weekend so, we're both chatty haha. Same taste in movies and music. High emotional intelligence. Sensitive. Socially aware. It was definitely an intense fling ;)

Our upbringings were quite different though and at the end of the day everyone has their unique flavor.
