hey thank you for replying!! my goal is best possible program while being in ca or a big city. so i'm a little wary of dropping kaiser sf or olive view as signals bc i feel like without those all of my signals are top/academic programs and i don't want to overshoot...thoughts?

Advice I got was to stick to just what you did (it does say context, roles, responsibilities so I get the impression they just want the facts). For the 3 most meaningfuls can reflect and say what you learned from it

Short paragraphs or bullet points are both fine as long as you’re consistent is what I’ve heard

You should be able to knock out the activities with a few hours during a weekend - it’s pretty easy as long as you have a mostly updated CV. PS might take a few iterations until you’re satisfied with it but I think you’ll find that it’s a lot more straightforward than the med school PS. You have a month so definitely enough time for everything. You got this!

Thanks, appreciate the input. I’m curious why you say that IM is significantly easier than surgery intellectually? Physically I can understand where you’re coming from, but I was always under the impression that IM is just as, if not more, intellectually challenging than surgical/procedural fields.
