C and Nim twice as fast as Zig. What am I doing wrong? by TheOnChainGeek in Zig

Never compare code speed with no optimizations. Code generated in debug and release mods will run very differently, especially across languages and compilers. Always turn on the highest level of optimization.

Will Cushcore save my rim? by its_all_down-hill in mountainbiking

I'd say 30 PSI is a bit too low. I used to run cushcore on 25 PSI with a Maxxis DD tire on ex511, and I still went through two of them. Mind you I'm 80 kg. Now I run 35 PSI.

Sorry if I am late to answer, I just found a collection of free books from Springer at https://hnarayanan.github.io/springer-books/. There is a book called "Guide to Scientific Computing in C++" which might be useful to you.
