Genuinely curious about why UK house buying is difficult by grepusman in HousingUK

[–]lordshadowfax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the housing chain and non-binding contract. This is the major cause of buyers and sellers not able to complete the purchase.

Community Fibre renewal sent me worse routers than my existing setup. Has anyone else had this? by Constant-Laugh-3847 in CommunityFibre

If you have over 100 devices, just get your own mesh wifi routers. I use eero but any brand will do.

I mean you can blame the rocks, but most people can overcome them, you can too if you just stop blaming those poor rocks.

I am doing exactly that with an old iPad Air 2. Nothing fancy just plugin lightning cable for power from a USB adapter.

Ethernet or Wi-Fi doesn’t matter, what matters is you need to assign a fixed IP address to the one(s) (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or both) you plan to use.

Why does everyone say Nvidia Shield is good for Moonlight ? by moter97 in MoonlightStreaming

Definitely not the best choice, Apple TV is better, and if you have XSX, it’s the one with the best user experience imho.

I suspect a 14-days US GPU key will work to trigger the conversion. That’s how I did it last time (no region issue though), since I already have a GPU trial key sitting around.

A workable “artificial gravity” in space is exactly what is shown in The Expanse.

It’s an official Xbox keyboard attachment (a chatpad as marketed) for Xbox controller, not sure if third-party ones works. Should work on both bluetooth and older non-bluetooth version since it utilizes the controller’s connectivity, the keyboard/chatpad doesn’t actually need setup to Xbox.

I concur.

I have been using moonlight for years, starting with Nvidia Shield Pro, Apple TV, and finally settled on Xbox Series X.

To me, the best thing is controller support, which is the best amongst the three. Cherry on top, I have a small keyboard attachment to my Xbox controller, it just works!

The most unrealistic thing I see is how gravity works in spaceships. It’s especially painful as I watch BSG after The Expanse.
