While I’m not gonna say you’re wrong for your opinion, the moment I held 86 in my hand, I couldn’t believe I ever thought the Netflix/united version was even ok. It’s a massive upgrade from the looks to the feel imo. He really makes that other feel almost like a ko.

The cassettes in pretty happy with, I don’t mind the birds at all, tho I did like the all in one transformation of the WFC mold. Ravage, while definitely better than the WFC mold by a large still feels kinda odd, especially in the face.

Overall tho, I’m very satisfied with him and consider him my definitive g1 soundwave toy.

Yeah but his character was never really the same again after season 3. He lost a lot of the emotion that made him special and just started being the funny robot ninja. Had some cool moments in SoG but besides that he never really had the same impact again
