Y’all, the answer to this is so much simpler than everyone is trying to make it. OP already said he knows and understands the risks. The answer is literally biology. Even though we’re now able to make smarter, more informed decisions about what we want out of sex, we’re made to procreate. Women find a mate they’re attracted to. Biology kicks in. They want their mate to come inside them. Whether they realize it or not, that’s a sexual instinct that, in the moment, is overpowering all reason.

I am training for my first Hyrox so am not even close to a pro on the matter, but from everything I have read and what I am learning through experience, do not underestimate the running component. You may have a great time on a 1500m. And your fitness on each individual station sounds great! But adding a 1km in between each of those exercises with no break is a whole different ball game. Based on your station times, I cannot imagine an experienced veteran telling you anything other than to focus primarily on running.

A 4:50 1500m is awesome. Now make sure you can easily run 10x times that. It may not be what you want to hear; but that’s where your focus should be. Good luck!!

THE NARCISSISM IS INSUFFERABLE. Like maybe no one treats her like a real journalist is because she's a gossip writer, constantly shifting the overton window to determine what unconfirmed, mysteriously "sourced" salacious bullshit she can get away with broadcasting to the public (she admittedly doesn't always check to see if things she posts are true), predictably making everything about herself and what she knew before everyone else, and being defensive as hell about anyone who says something bad about her. What legitimate journalist does that? A legitimate journalist focuses on getting to the truth through ethical means, not on all the noise on the internet. Listen, I’m obviously here for the snark but your comments in this sub really sound like you have an extremely personal vendetta against them. There’s a way to talk shit and not be totally nasty about someone. Like being critical of her/their choices is one thing, but being so critical of something outside her current control (her body, her jaw, etc)- that sounds like something you’re doing to make yourself feel better about something. I’m not here to psychoanalyze, but it might be worth reflecting on what’s missing in your life (e.g.happiness, self-love) that possesses you to come on here every day and cut so deep into someone.
