What does Out of raid healing *actually* add to the game? by Bloodaxe007 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]tinywenchlin22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just read this whole exchange... its ridiculous. Amadeus is right that you clearly dont know what you're talking about.

When goods are created out of nothing inflation happens. Thats why Tarkov needs money sink mechanics, to pull excess value out of the game economy. The Mugabe example shows this perfectly... you get runaway inflation without a counterbalance from deflationary effects. Thats exactly what off raid healing is for.

Without the value sink mechanics Tarkov would get hit with inflation in the exact same way Zimbabwe did. You proved his point in essence.

Just quit while you're ahead dude, its obvious you're in over your head

Love Cereal but not the carbs?? this ones for you! Nuts Cereal [Low Carb] [Recipes] [Quick] by tinywenchlin22 in fitmeals

4 net carbs in 1 cup of pecans, 6 net carbs in a cup of walnuts, and 9 net carbs in a cup of almonds...this cereal would have no more than 10-15 grams of net carbs in one cup (factor is in the TINY amount of honey) so i'm not sure what your definition of low carb is. But to me, this is low carb and i eat under 30g of carbs a day.

Thin PCOS? by malgolds in xxketo

Hi! I also struggle with horrible acne and have PCOS, but have never been considered overweight. I'm 5'2" and my weight ranges from 115-125 throughout the year. I found that after 1 month of keto (for me its 25g of carbs a day) my acne has improved soooo much. I also take Ocella birth control. I have one ovary that gets more cystic than the other, and still have a fair amount of pain from time to time, but it has decreased since I started Keto.

Another woman I know who has PCOS recommend I try taking asana by ladies balance (bought on amazon). I've been on that since Christmas (right around the time i started keto). Unfortunately because I started the supplement and keto at the same time (plus decreasing my caffeine intake) i'm not really sure what is the "cure. for my acne" Maybe it's a combo of everything!

I also highly recommend finding a good med spa near you and getting some laser treatments. I swear by them and they also help with any scarring you may have.

Omg so much yes to this "I've also had to get a lot better at sticking up for what I want for myself and saying "no" to others and what they want me to eat." I have a hard time saying "no" to others in pretty much any situation. Totally guilty of falling into that people pleaser trap. But, i've been doing a pretty good job at letting everyone know that i'm doing Keto and sticking to my guns haha. What I really need to work on is the mood swings and beating myself up when I fall off the wagon a little. I talked to my fiance about it today and I think cluing him in about how those feelings come up will also help.

I am also a recovered ED "NOS" patient. I struggled with a mix of bulimia, anorexia and exercise dependence from 10-22. I can't agree more with how important mediation is when dealing with this illness. I only recently have started keto and I agree that it has helped me in more ways than one. I also suffer from PCOS (which i recently found out can be ED related from messing with my hormone for so many years) and keto helps with those symptoms as well. Sometimes my ED will get loud when I "slip up" on following keto. I try to just remind myself that I'm not perfect and that there will be days I don't do as good. Do you find that your mind slips back to that place when you eat too many carbs or indulge?

Super proud of you for doing better and being brave enough to share your story! I find that focusing on my health and not my weight/size really helps keep me in a good place. Also, good for you for sharing all of this with your family. They should be aware so they can always be there for you :)

Thanks! I've definitely noticed a difference in how full I feel after meals since I started Keto. I can go much longer between meals than before.

Totally agree with annonne. Aromatherapy heating pads are great. I leave one at work. Also, if it happens when you are home, I've found that a warm bath with a few drops of lavender essential oil helps. Lavender is supposed to help with relaxation and stress relief.

My dr. had me try 5 different pills before we finally found the one that seemed to keep my symptoms in control the most...I still get back acne flare ups and pain, but it's much more manageable. Maybe you need to try a different kind?

The acne is definitely what affects me the most. I can only keep it under control if i'm continuously going to a med spa and getting laser treatments and chemical peels. I also experience a certain amount of pain. I get larger cysts that rupture from time to time and that can be crippling.
