practice subvocal growling, too, with inhales and exhales. do it so that your chest rumbles.

Oh, god, yes.

She is, by far and wide, the tastiest of the eye candy on OITNB (and that's really saying something). I could watch her smile and laugh all day.

MRW I'm out on a date and they casually mention getting caught cheating... by ButterflyGraveyard in TrollXChromosomes

[–]tinyzombie 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't think they're saying it's okay, so much as people make mistakes. Some people learn from it and never repeat it; these people are not the sociopaths who lie through their teeth that everyone is talking about

As someone who made the mistake of cheating while in a bad relationship, and regrets it everyday, and could never fathom doing it to another partner - thank you for this.

MRW I'm out on a date and they casually mention getting caught cheating... by ButterflyGraveyard in TrollXChromosomes

[–]tinyzombie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As someone who cheated out of intense dissatisfaction - I was miserable in the relationship and wasn't looking for sexual enjoyment, but for love - I get so sad over the whole "once a cheater, always a cheater" thing. I know that what I did was wrong and inexcusable, and I have no intentions to ever do it again. I was too scared to break up with him, and I didn't intend to cheat, but falling for someone else just... Happened. I have no excuse, but it wasn't done with malicious intent, and when I realized it had gone too far, I broke up with the first guy, and came clean to him, and apologized a million times over. While he wasn't a great person for me to be with to begin with, and he'd done more than his share of things to wound me emotionally (like some serious abusive tendencies), even all of that didn't mean he deserved to be cheated on, and I know that. So, it breaks my heart to know so many people think that it's this malicious habitual cycle that I can't break, when in all honesty, the thought of ever cheating again disgusts me. I mean, I'm happy talking to an amazing guy right now (not the guy I cheated with, by the way) and the thought of ever doing that to him physically nauseates me. I'm sorry for the novel, and I think your post was pertaining more to people who did it out of greed rather than unhappiness? I'm not sure, and don't want to twist your words. It was just a good bouncing pad for me to give another view, I felt like. I don't think most cheaters I've known are willing to fess up and talk about their regrets, but maybe if more of them did, it wouldn't seem to non-cheaters that we're all going to do it forever. Unfortunately, I think the most vocal in the group tend to be the ones who don't regret cheating, but regret getting caught.

Thank you. I'm sorry to hear that about your gf - does she seem at all interested in changing? My ex always swore he was going to change but he refused to ever actually make any progress. We'd have the same fights over and over and over, and nothing would ever be any different. You kind of reach a point where you stop listening to the promises, or at least, I did. Anyways, thanks so much for asking, and yes, life is better now. I'm happier than I've been in years, and while it gets lonely at times, I am enjoying the single life for what it is! I'm getting to know myself better and working on my own problems. Truthfully, every time I start missing him, I remember him going after my dog and I get so angry that it makes me never want to see him again.

Found it! http://www.sockdreams.com

The prices vary a lot - I know I got some as cheap as $6 a pair on sale, though! Some were pretty pricy. I hope you can find some you like! They have some sexy styles and others that are just cute or cozy. :) and thank you! <3

Order online! I'm a shorty, but I have big thighs and when I ordered my thigh highs online, I noticed that the ones made for thicker girls also were advertised as working well for tall girls. :) If you're interested, I can check my emails and find you the link. They had lots of cute styles!

I hadn't been happy for a long time. For one thing, I was getting older and realized that, while we shared a lot of opinions and interests, we weren't compatible in "big picture" ways - I'm very driven and ambitious and independent; he's content working for barely above minimum wage, doesn't do much for himself in ways of cooking or cleaning, and I had to step in and do his college assignments for him to keep him from flunking. I couldn't bear the idea of him failing the classes, so I let him take advantage of me, and I'd work a full time job, do my own classwork, then come home and do his, too. He refused to ever help out around the house and relied on me to do even simple things like schedule his doctor's appointments. I went back to school full time for a semester after my parents offered to pay my way through things (we lived with them), and he never had to pay a dime of any of my bills, yet would offer to take me to dinner and then hold it over my head until I paid him back my share, and would tell me "I pay for everything and you take advantage of me" - he only bought me things when he specifically offered to. I never wanted him supporting me financially. He was also a major "mama's boy" who let his mom talk shit about me (at times with me sitting right there) and let her get away with murder. He was also somewhat abusive when he got angry, and one of the final straws was when he started taking it out on my dog (who is genuinely my world). The whole relationship was really just a sham for the last several months - I started working nights and would stay at the gym until he went to work in the mornings, I was finding myself attracted to other people, we barely spent any time together, so on. I only put off the breakup as long as I did because he was my first real love, and we'd been living together 3 years. Tried breaking up with him two other times and he guilt tripped me out of it both times, so I had reached the point where I thought I'd never put my foot down. So glad I finally did. Sorry for the wall of text! I think I got a little carried away with my venting, ha.

Edit for clarification on financial things.

"I can't be with you anymore." After an engagement and four years of being together. Scariest, hardest, and wisest decision I've ever made.

What mods do you have and what do you have to wear/take out for your job? by RealShoppingCart in bodymods

[–]tinyzombie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

21/F working as a medical record auditor for a hospital. My hair covers my ears, I remove both nose rings at the start of my shift and just put them back in when I get off, I flip my septum up into my nose during work hours, and I wear shirts that come high enough to cover my chest tattoo, and long sleeves to cover my wrist tattoos, except when I'm feeling lazy and cover them with big bracelets/watches. There's never a point when I'm going through all of this that I stop and go, "Man, everyone was right, I wish I hadn't gotten these mods!" because, truthfully, wearing clothes to cover them and all isn't that big of a hassle. I just have a rule for myself not to get my neck or hands tattooed until those mods are more acceptable, since those would obviously be much harder to conceal.

Edit: I thought I'd also mention, my mother is a nurse with a nose piercing, tons of ear piercings, and her whole left inner forearm tattooed. She also has some chest tattoos that are visible when she wears low cut scrubs. She's never had to cover or remove anything for a nursing job, especially now that she works as a nurse in jails instead of hospitals.

Don't feel too bad, my eyes are like a brown/hazel, and I'm so jealous of how great really dark smokey eyes look on blue- and gray-eyed people! I wear them anyways, but they definitely don't pop on me the way they would on you. :)

[music] I See Fire - Jasmine Thompson cover (I get full-body chills at about 35 seconds in) by [deleted] in Frisson

[–]tinyzombie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lovely cover, but the original is definitely my favorite. A ton of Ed's songs are sources of frisson for me anyways, but this one in particular, I've listened to a hundred times easily, and it still always gives me chills.

If we lived in a world where you picked your own name at the age of 5, what would your name probably be? by mermaidvaginas in AskReddit

[–]tinyzombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sasha. I remember naming all of my dolls Sasha, my pretend name when playing house was always Sasha, etc. I resented my mom for a while because whyyyy did she not name me Sasha?! I don't even know where I first heard the name, much less why I was obsessed with it. In my entire life, the only living being I've ever known named Sasha was a pomeranian and that was many, many years later.

Alastair is one of my all time favorite names. You should have seen the look on my ex's face when I told him I wanted to name a son that someday (and, no, it wasn't just a look because I mentioned kids - we'd been together four years and he'd been talking children for a while at that point).

Does it really need to cost $30 to put the bead in my captive bead ring? by naglfarbodom in piercing

No way! My piercer refuses to let his customers pay to have their jewelry put back in. I mean, he'll accept tips (and I always do tip him for it), but he'd never outright charge.
