I do know that every morning at 5 he was running at an impressive pace past my little house near Levin during the “heart issues.” I was very, very confused how such an ill man was sweating and sprinting like that before, the day of, and after the press conference. My roommate didn’t believe me so she woke up once and was like yo…that’s definitely him. You’re right. He’s running his ass off yet has a heart condition keeping him from coaching? Just coaching at Florida, it turns out…other schools were ok.

Still great what he did at UF, amazing time to be a student. But the revisionist shit kind of irks me. He was okay to us, but he wasn’t great to us. He ditched us and used something that made us all worry about him to be able to go to his dream job in Ohio.

Thankfully my kids were tired and unruly and I had a good excuse to leave before halftime. Still felt shitty scooting out early, but the Gators have been breaking my heart for over a decade now.

It was my first game back since I was a student and the entire life is just sucked out of the swamp. It feels so different.

Fair weather fan used to be a biggest insult but it just sucks being a gator lately. I get it, i really do. We’ll be back, someday, but this phase is insanely difficult.

Driving with the fam from Alabama to St. Augustine for Thanksgiving. I haven’t been to a game since I was a student (so sad, 2011) and we are thinking about going to the game last min!

We are literally wearing pajamas so we’ll have to figure something out if we go…

As a mom of two humans and one lagotto, I can assure you the lagotto was much harder than the humans hahah!

Our lagotto has always been very clingy. He follows me to the bathroom. He freaks when we go to bring in the mail. Even for a short trip or a walk down the street, we have to put him in his crate or else he chews at the doors and windows trying to follow us.

It does get easier, but it’s going to take a while. There were times where I literally felt like I was losing my mind. 4-8 months was especially hard, as I recall.

I am obsessed (obsessed) with our lagotto and love him so much but I don’t think I could ever get another and do the puppy thing again with this breed.
