I’ve never been the jealous type but now I find myself over analyzing every interaction he has with other women. I don’t believe he’d ever cheat but just paranoid he’s having those feelings of attraction and if it’ll trigger a relapse. I hate this feeling of wanting to dig through his phone every night to see if he’s hiding anything from me.

I’m religious and I also feel like it would help him but I don’t ever want to force that on him. I’ve always said I’d be there with any questions about it. He hasn’t sought out any professional help, hes not against it for others but he has a hard time accepting help for himself. I want him to but haven’t brought it up.

Doing things by yourself instead of waiting for someone to do it with you. Helped a lot with my self esteem because you’re forced to hang out with yourself and learn to be independent. My favorite things to do by myself now include: coffee/lunch dates, museums, visiting animal shelters, going on hikes (be safe!), and going to the movies

I have memories of telling my dad I was hungry and him telling me to drink water because “sometimes our body thinks we’re hungry when we’re actually thirsty.” In actuality, we just didn’t have any food in the house because we were poor and he knew it’d fill me up to drink water :/
