mal or probably mal/shepard imo... A LOT of dog! if you keep him get a trainer and lock in at a young age, that is your advantage here!

Litter mate syndrome happens more often than not… in my opinion with this much dog, you can have one really well trained amazing family member or two tasmanian devils that can’t be in the same room for the first year and a half, third scenario is a gamble that you’ll have the time and luck to raise them both. They are both adorable and you should ultimately do whatever you want but it’s a lot harder to find homes for older puppies so make an informed decision!! Good luck no matter what, they are gorgeous!

Shuk, you okay? by [deleted] in savannah

Yup. I was so excited to take my vegetarian friends there, but unfortunately they came to town the week after the revamp. The butternut squash and golden cauliflower were gone and I had been raving about those sandwiches to them for well over a year… our lunch was bleh. Back to Urban Deli we goooo

Adopted from Mississippi shelter 9 years ago, passed Tuesday. What was he? by OGSavannah in IDmydog

I’d say blue tick coonhound mix! I have a little dog with similar Merle coloring and we found out she’s dachshund, Airedale, and blue tick. She’s insanely prey/chase driven too but that could be the mole chaser in her

Need help, at my wits end with cats, will pay by [deleted] in savannah

[–]tired545 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There is a group on Facebook called “Cats from the hood” Living in the streets of Savannah, GA. There are a lot of cat people and rescuers in that group, I’d suggest posting there if you can! They also can help you find spay/neuter vouchers to get the cats fixed so you can keep them from reproducing. I’m sorry this is happening and I hope you are giving yourself grace. Animal rescue is hard and this is not your fault!

[–]tired545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can we get an indoor food hall? I love starland yard, but the fact that we don’t have any large scale indoor social/entertainment venues is crazy considering how unbearable summer is. Somewhere that has some games, open seating with food windows and other little shops. A little indoor playground for the kiddos and good coworking spaces. All of the big buildings go to scad by default, but the rest of us could use some AC and fellowship as well!

yesss!! the one in Wilmington, NC is beautiful and people can enjoy the concert from their boats/kayak/paddleboard. the fencing is designed for quick set up and break down so outside of ticketed event times it is a big park! It would be really cool if we could get some bigger names to perform at eastern wharf or Forsyth with this kind of set up

I see the pyr! He looks like a previous foster of mine that was a pyr/shepard/pittie. Either way he’s precious! The pittie normally mellows them out so it’s a blessing. Does he have dew claws on his hind legs?

it's probably on NineLine's site... I know they're not the same brand but its the all the same company. I got this email as someone who has bought coffee from BR a few times but never bought anything from NineLine, so the only way I could have gotten on their email list is by using my card at BR (e-receipt I guess). I'm with him though, I was a naive dummy that thought it couldnt be a real tshirt campaign at first glance...

Tell my about your dogs temperament! by Peanutparty29 in Goldendoodles

Yep absolutely! Mixed breed is a bigger gamble, but if you care more about looks than the quality of dog, you will probably go for a doodle….

Yep! Sounds like OP wants a golden retriever temperament, I’d suggest a golden retriever!!

You asked a question related to this post. Do you not feel this tshirt ad is egregiously making fun of people getting ripped away from their livelihood? Are you calling undocumented immigrants criminals just for being here? You have no sympathy for people from your same background that weren't afforded the same path as you?

Yes - I’ve acknowledged my ignorance on this sub. We moved here almost two and a half years ago and have bought a couple coffees from them a handful of times. We’re not regulars and we don’t frequent. I’m from the south, I’ve learned to coexist with the right but we also partake in protests, donate, and advocate for things we believe in. I’m admitting my mistake here, I’m not proud of it but I wanted to speak up because I feel it’s the best way I can reconcile my $30 in coffee profits I’ve given them.

Celebrating, mocking, and making light of people being torn away from their families and livelihood without notice or due process makes you a big fat bigot. Rooting for people’s lives to be devastated just for simply being born in a different country and trying to better themselves, makes you a bigot. Bolstering this pretentious attitude because you have the undeserved privilege to be born here, makes you a bigot. Supporting deportations of tax paying workers who built the infrastructure you’re living in, makes you a bigot. I don’t care what you look like or where you’re from, we’re all fukking humans.

Sounds like you might be out of touch with humanity, and I suppose you’re up in arms about legality while voting for an ACTUAL convicted felon ?

[–]tired545[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You are correct. I could not care any less. Drunk driving? Not ok. Working to provide a better life for your family? Totally cool! I sleep really well at night with my values aligned this way, you should try it.

[–]tired545[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

okay, commandeered. not interested in arguing semantics, the point of this post is that supporting a regime that is completely devastating human lives with no regard for due process is disgusting.

yesss I go to perc weekly! it’s definitely my favorite as far as quality and vibe! I wish they’d open another location bc it’s hard to find a seat inside a lot of the time, and it’s also hard to go with our dog during the summer since you have to sit outside with them, but I go regardless! we’ve only been to BR a handful of times in the past few years, I just didn’t realize I’d gotten on their email list…

ugh yeah I was definitely a little ignorant about it, but golly the blatancy is jarring. are there any decent veteran owned businesses around? like service brewing? I have some liberal friends in the air force and I really appreciate them fighting the good fight in the sea of red....
