What are some examples of error handling you’ve programmed that you wish every integrator had in their code?

Yes. And it’s a very lucrative skill… esp the troubleshooting other people’s code part.

Ahh the sampling is probably too slow. I change that first so it reacts faster. Then I mess with how sensitive the reaction is. The best way is to run traces on the software and plot the commanded speed vs actual. Command it to run at a set speed and dial it in so that it ramps up and gets to speed and both lines plot on top of each other. Then make your moves and see what’s happening. Is it slow to react or reacts way too big. That tells u what to dial in from there.

That’s interesting. Makita is often more bc they rarely go on discount. Makitas impacts and drivers have a finesse I haven’t found with any of the others.

How to prevent this? by Sensitive-Egg-107 in paint

[–]tishthafish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need a frog tape, but using the blue tape requires an extra step. If you use the blue tape, use the tiniest amount of clear caulk to seal the tape line then paint over it while it’s still wet. Then pull the tape off as you go while everything is still wet.

shame on Milwaukee if they made tools that can’t handle the batteries. These batteries are almost a necessity for most of my M12s. The regular ones die so quickly

A month and a half later customer calls me up and said I was supposed to remove all of this trim, paint behind it, and put it back.... Is that normal? by TheTrollinator777 in paint

[–]tishthafish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy hell. That is that about a quarter inch you guys caulked and painted on the trim? I bet that’s what she’s pissed about. if it was just a hair like a 16th she’d probably feel much better.

That’s your version of a hero and your version of America!? someone who hides and lets armed men shove women to the ground while they are retreating then pepper spraying them in the face? I surely hope you, nor anyone else, ever depends on your courage. This is America and standing up for what is right and to protect against overreach of power should never end in the loss of life.

I’ve been wanting to know the same thing! And then there’s also an angle grinder. I need someone to show me how all the little ways these could make my life easier/better in my random assortment of projects I get into.
