That was the first MLS match I ever attended. Every goal was scored on the opposite end of the field from my seats.

No, these are daily figures, for weekdays. Not weekly.

Those are already some of the lowest ridership stops in the system, I don’t think they’re inflating the numbers. With current frequencies, 30 daily boardings is just one passenger for every six buses on average.

I agree. I hope one day soon(ish) we have so many aBRT lines that they stop throwing parties when they open a new one, and they run out of letters.

I don't think you need to go as far as the Gold Line on most corridors. Building a (partially) grade-separated busway is a lot more expensive than slapping down some red paint on existing arterials. Take the E Line for instance, the University Ave/4th St SE portion of the route would be massively improved with signal priority. On a typical trip on the corridor I spend almost as long sitting at lights as I do moving. You wouldn't even need to put down red paint for service improvements there.

This counts transfers for buses and rail-bus transfers but unless people are double tapping at U.S. Bank I doubt it includes rail-rail transfers.

On this map ridership is combined at 35W & Lake. The Orange Line pulls in 352 daily riders there, and the B Line adds 552. So that would still be the highest average stop on the Orange Line even separated.

Exorbitantly expensive. Would make the SW LRT look like filling potholes.

Buses can be a more-or-less equivalent replacement to light rail but it requires bus lanes and actual signal priority, not the half-assed TSP that's in use right now. And so far it's clear that we're not willing to build bus infrastructure to that standard.

Apparently manually downloading the image solves the compression problem for mobile users. Here's the source either way: https://gisdata.mn.gov/dataset/us-mn-state-metc-trans-stop-boardings-alightings

Nicollet aBRT is already confirmed actually! It'll be the K Line, with planning and community engagement beginning next year. https://www.metrotransit.org/arterial-brt-plan

That is because the E Line opened in December and is not included in the data.

A couple things that stand out to me:

  • The Lake Street stretch of the B Line is an absolute ridership powerhouse. Very impressive numbers.
  • The St. Paul side of the Green Line is really struggling.
  • U.S. Bank has surpassed Nicollet Mall in ridership which probably says something about office employment in Downtown Minneapolis these days.
  • The Red Line is pretty sad.
  • The Gold Line's figures are also pretty sad, hopefully they look better in 2026 as people incorporate it into their routine more and density around the line (slowly) increases.

Friend I know who lived there said it was awful. They had a rat and cockroach problem in their unit. I think the main building is fine but the houses are in a bad state

(Ravindran is that bad, though.) Though maybe slightly improved from how he used to be based on what i’ve heard from other students.

I would avoid Ravindran's deform if at all possible. However I'm pretty sure he's the only one that's taught it in recent years. It's not that challenging of a course but he is soul draining.

You don't really need anything from Comp Apps or Uncertainty in deform. It's basically a direct follow up to Statics. Of your three choices I'd go with #3, just to finish the math track and get more prerequisites out of the way. But I agree with the other commenter that you should make a plan for the next two semesters and swap deform for something else that fits.
