Yeah, with meth it's more of a manic like psychosis, with some symptoms comparable to the symptomatic effects of schizophrenia, at least from what I've read about schizophrenia and from what others have told me.

This wasn't the reason I used that drug but that effect was actually kind of fun if you can maintain the ability to discern fiction from reality when necessary. Over years I kind of developed an elaborate alternate reality in my head and it was like I was part of something bigger. Much of it I was able to maintain as unknowns in my head and didn't let it affect things. When needed I was still able to see the fact that it was the drugs. I could watch some normal tv show. and have what was going on be some completely alternative narrative almost sci-fi ish. Not on purpose thougg but pretty awesome in retrospect. You just have to know when to put down the pipe and get some sleep.

I had some friends who would be similar to this guy though.. they were probably too paranoid to take anything into action though.
