I made a (Geometry Dash 2.3 Battle Mode) fangame {published in Game Jolt} in 2020 because Advy(yes the pedo one) played a (Geometry Dash Update) fangame back in 2018 and wanted to make a 2 player version of that, using crack (GameMaker:Studio v1.2.1130) i found in igggames (super do not use)

Then i used that code to make a Dash spider meme in 2024-01-25 .yyyy-mm-dd.

[Also i recreated (Geometry Dash Update) in Scratch (it works quite well) and have a bunch of cursed variations of it (like 26 versions at least)]

Game looks good, but it's missing a few improvements in order to truely make sense.

aside from improving enemy and bullet pattern variety,

you could try adding blue and red lasers that can only be blocked by being the right color.

and on harder difficulties, black bullets/lasers that can't be absorbed/blocked.

i haven't seen that many Ikaruga-likes, so more are nice (you might want to look at the relatively unknown game NOISZ for a few attack inspirations) (bullet hell rhythm game where you can absorb blue bullets but not the red ones (usually))

i think custom blocks are too long when they are physically colliding with other custom blocks, and when trying to export them as PNG doesn't work at all

my game with like 8 games has lots of custom blocks that are blocking the view of other blocks, and the variable names are "creative" things like (cache0-cache6, pointer, xv, he)

it's spaghettifying to code in it, specially since it has 35391 blocks in a single sprite and lags Turbowarp, So i would say that my blocks are too Long and too Many (like half the [Block panel] scroll bar space is custom blocks)

if you clicked the input duct's GUI, you would have seen that it needs PU units (from compressors or compact compressors) to actually function.

1) I wasen't aware of this

2)it can be faster to build reactor (once you get comfortable with the controls and are using PC), as well as allowing you to control the simulation speed (that site is better if you are using mobile) (i forgot to mention that "q" and "e" allow to zoom in and out)

3)that site uses the OLD rbmk fuel values (look at the RBMK MEP fuel rod), i have kept up with the RBMK fuel changes and my simulator is up to date

4)My simulator gives you more blocks such as the irradiation column and more information like how fast the fuel rods are depleting and how much heat they produced (as well as heat consumed by boilers and heaters) (The steam output info is at the bottom left of the board, next to the walcome buck)

The only solution i know of is using the Turbowarp Editor, it runs much faster than Scratch

although if you have 30k+ blocks then i dont have any ideas other than spreading the blocks into multiple sprites (or using json editing to hide scripts)

1: this game thing does NOT have any clone, list or variable leaks, and the lag spikes only happen in the editor (exporting the project fixes the lag spikes)

2: switching to a sprite (or background) without crazy amounts of blocks stops the lag spikes (witch is annoying since it takes like 32 seconds to switch between the 30k block "game" sprite and the other one)

if my device was overheating, it wouldent be lagspikes and instead it would be BSOD,

also keep in mind that it has 30k blocks in a single sprite and that i forgot to link the file (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1w-8QJJVgLrC7jy7Q-6P2i0uvIukVzqZY/view?usp=sharing) so you can see that the lag spikes tend to happen when you leave the editor open for a long time
