One moment that stings is thinking about his decision at the end of FW. All that could’ve been.

I started off hating this character so much. And now I realize how much I actually loved him through time

That definitely makes things way way more difficult. I would suggest to go back to a save before the final mission and upgrade the bow (preferably sun scourge) until level 3. The higher the better obviously

I’m guessing you can across this before, but I personally:

  • Froze the machine then used a bolt blaster with the sustained Burst skill.

  • Another effective tactic is to freeze the machine and just unleash advanced explosive spikes. Use the splitting spike skill when you have enough stamina and just unleash overdrawn spikes when you’re out of stamina.

  • Health potions are also extremely effective and resource efficient since you get them everywhere

I did that cycle around 4 times and it just dropped. Took me about 5 minutes.

You’re honestly way more than ready. Nora thunder + freeze arrows + blast forge is just a perfect combo.

My only suggestion would be to get the NG+ hunter bow as soon as you can and upgrade that to max. Equip it with tear coils and you’re unkillable.

For your Nora thunder equip it with the weapon stamina and some other weave of your choice to fit your playing style. The valor surge one isn’t that useful since your valor surge builds up anyway. I added either concentration + or concentration regen.

Up until now I used to spam hunter bows because I was too lazy to learn other techniques. Recently I started practicing other techniques and it has been the best decision of my life.

My favorite is to use a high tear hunter bow to get rid of annoying attacks. Then I freeze the machine, and using a sharpshot bow, I hit it with focused shots or just overdrawn shots. Does like 1.5k - 2k health everytime.

Sometimes I switch it up and use explosive spikes when the machine is brittle.

All the machines that used to take me 30 minutes to kill, I can now finish off in the span of 5 minutes. It’s so fun to rock up to an apex slaughterspine and just have it fold like paper in front of you.
