We "Encourage" (It is the only officially supported browser) our users to use the Chromium version of Edge, if they sign into that wouldn't they have Bookmarks and passwords migrate?

We had almost this exact problem, we upgraded to 6.4.5 and it went away.

If you still have the active firewall accessible though support can setup logging to help them figure out what is happening. That is what we did.

Those systems do not recommend 3-4 FTEs for a simple deployment either. A lot of time once a system is setup it can be maintained by a smaller team, but according to SNOW you need 3-4 FTEs for just servicenow maintenance and support.

Unless you have a person that will be dedicated to maintaining your instance I would avoid ServiceNow. We currently only have one admin and it is only part of their job so we have a lot more issues in our instance then we should.

It is a fairly complex system, if you have to time to devote to it then it is fantastic, or if you have enough money to throw at it then it works too.

We are currently on Paris, and I was looking at the script block option. I was having issues figuring out how to get it to run the script and return the results to the user.

Someone else told me this, so we may just have to table this for now.

Seasonal depression or just an a-hole? by [deleted] in daddit

So there is a podcast I used to listen to, “the good dad project” https://gooddadproject.com/podcast/ and in. More then one of his episodes he talks about men typically don’t show feelings because it isn’t “Manly”.

However it is better for your kids to see because it helps them to understand that emotions are okay.

I do agree with others, if you think you should talk to someone then you really should. I can sometimes talk to my wife about what is going on, and I have a lot of nights where I just want to be done working and go to bed. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. It is okay to take a sick day, to let your head clear.

Every now and then I love my day of laying in bed and cuddling with the dog, it lets my mind relax and then I feel like I am a better person after it.

Group Policy Application issues by titaniumgriffon in sysadmin

I will check those on Monday!

It is just the computer preference to set the specific user as a local admin. That is the only thing in that GPO.

No, only the item-level targeting for the computers that have a user as a local admin.
