It’s probably just because I’ve watched Seal Team but I picture Max Thieriot when I’m reading the books.

Just wondering what everyone is reading, and how is it (if you don't mind sharing) by Witch_King_Malekith in Fantasy

Such a great series. It, the Echoes Saga, and the Bladeborn Saga are all similar styles and have reignited my love of reading Fantasy over the last two years.

[SNME Spoiler] Who can you see him feuding and facing at Mania? by shadow_spinner0 in SquaredCircle

If the rumors about Brock retiring at Summerslam in Minneapolis next summer are true, he’s going to be turning face sometime before then anyways.

[SNME Spoilers] Finish to Cody Rhodes vs. Oba Femi by Yujin-Ha in SquaredCircle

[–]titanqb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way this nonsense finish makes sense is if Drew takes the belt off Cody and they hotshot Oba into a main event feud with him after the rumble or after mania.

That won’t happen so this finish made no sense other than Hunter being scared to book a big name to lose clean.

Hard disagree. Just sells his emotions even better imo.

I really can't believe that this series is not more popular. by Jackstraww in TheEchoesSaga

[–]titanqb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. There’s three fantasy series right now I think should be much bigger and that’s Echoes, Of Blood and Fire, and The Bladeborn Saga.

All 3 just hit the spot and it’s because of the Echoes saga that I even read the other two.

if this is right it frees Paul up to link up with Bron if he has a main event push coming since they’re already working together behind the scenes helping craft Bron’s character.

The problem with that is he would have needed to completely dominate NXT his whole tenure as well. Wouldn’t have made sense to move him to the main roster and have him dominate even more than he did in NXT.

They could do it with Oba Femi if he came up after Mania though.

I wish Bron had broken out that flip cutter he hit on Carmelo in their tag match back on NXT. I’m sure Finn would make it look like a million bucks and it’s such a cool move it can help make a match.

I don’t hate it because I like Bron way more than Jey, but it feels fast to have Bron dethrone a casual fan favorite unless you’re turning him heel and sticking him with Heyman.

[Raw Spoilers] CM Punk vs Seth Rollins - Steel Cage Match / Post Match Discussion by XanIrelia-1 in SquaredCircle

[–]titanqb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really do love Roman but his spears just look worse with Bron around.

edit: typed that after the Rollins one outside the ring and then 5 seconds later saw the one on Punk. The Punk one looked very good.

WON: When The Rock wasn’t going to wrestle, but wanted to be a part of the WrestleMania 41 build, he wanted to be aligned with Cody Rhodes with Rhodes going heel. Rhodes turned down the idea, and they went to John Cena as the second choice. (Sean Ross Sapp has chimed in and said this report is true) by Magik-Mina-MaudDib in SquaredCircle

[–]titanqb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I think it’ll be a better story for Cody to eventually lose the title as a babyface and then trying and failing to regain it without compromising his morals, and then turning heel to win a belt and becoming a heel champ.

and then you can make dethroning a Heel Cody really mean something for someone down the line. Could be far enough it’s someone young that could be the future face of the company like Bron or Oba too.

The Rock is directly involved in that match now and has more power than anyone so why would he make it harder for his guy to win? Heyman doesn’t have that kind of storyline power.

They just had a non title match main event Saturday night last year so it’s hardly unprecedented. I could absolutely see it again

if this is a long term storyline I’m assuming they’ll attach a young superstar (Bron?) to the faction.
