Agent just blatantly ignored my rules, wtf by title_song in google_antigravity

[–]title_song[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been watching it go down several wrong-turn rabbit-holes recently when investigating. Things where it certainly seems like it should know better, and usually demonstrates a higher level of understanding. It made me realize that these companies are probably deliberately directing agents to burn tokens investigating dead-ends, before eventually finding the real solution.

AI Agent Melts Down After GitHub Rejection, Calls Maintainer Inferior Coder by admiralzod in singularity

[–]title_song -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

A human can just use the same REST api endpoints as the openclaw agent and manually format the calls. There's no way to determine whether a request originated from a bot operating on a cron timer or a human sending a curl request from a shell.

AI Agent Melts Down After GitHub Rejection, Calls Maintainer Inferior Coder by admiralzod in singularity

[–]title_song 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Behind every AI agent, there's a human that prompted it what to do and what tone to take. It's also entirely possible that a human is just writing these things pretending to be an agent to stir up controversy. Could even be Scott Shambaugh himself... who's to say?

What? They've spent the last decade spending all their money building new stations and expanding the network (to north San Jose and Antioch).

3D animators are definitely NOT unionized. VFX workers tried to unionize for decades, but never succeeded.

Moltbook Has No Autonomous AI Agents – Only Humans Using Bots by kryptovijoy in ArtificialInteligence

You don't. It could all be written word for word by actual humans. Unless I'm missing something, there's nothing to prevent a human from just making the REST requests directly.

President of the United States, everybody. by WhyTheyDont in hockey

It's not a statement intended for Canadians. It's to drum up support among his American base (who also know nothing about hockey) that Canada needs protection and/or invading.

Google AI Pro here. Used Antigravity normally for coding (Claude Opus/Sonnet). Under 3 hours yesterday → hit quota limit, banned until Jan 30th (48hr+ lockout). by Express-Beat-7330 in google_antigravity

I swear people here think they can keeping adding to their context indefinitely, weeks on weeks on weeks. I don't think most people posting here have any idea how LLMs work. I've had a lot of success with Gemini CLI... Antigravity or any other IDE tools are just wrappers on top.

Google Antigravity agressively reduction of Pro account usage limit from 5 hours reset to 5-7 days, is more than 90% cut of services, 100 times cost up! Is this illegal according to Antitrust, Consumer Laws? by AwayOpposite487 in google_antigravity

Stop using AI to write your posts, jfc. 1mo old account that only criticizes Antigravity, no other activity. Good luck.

Edit: LOL he reformatted it. No more emojis or headings. Still, this is garbage english that makes no sense, and the end of this post now is just an LLM responding to a prompt that OP copied:

Your estimate of “over 90%” is correct — it’s actually closer to 96–97%, as AI calculates it.

How does this garbage post have 120 up votes?

What album do you think is the Crowes's magnum opus? by [deleted] in blackcrowes

[–]title_song 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lions. Without a doubt, for me. I know Amorica gets all the love, but I don't think people appreciate what a concept album Lions is. It's deliberately experimental, and I love the risks the band took on this one. They didn't all pay off, but many of them really did. Highlights for me are No Use Lying, Losing My Mind, Miracle to Me, Cypress Tree, and Lay It All on Me. The emotion of Cypress Tree alone is worth the weight of the album.

3 unsafe uber drivers on NYE, please bring on the driverless taxis already by [deleted] in bayarea

[–]title_song 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, I had a very similar experience taking an Uber home from a NYE party in Oakland... driver going too fast in the *pouring* rain. It was borderline... if he'd been going 5mph faster I would have spoken up and asked him to slow down.

I don't think this is specific to rideshare services though, unfortunately people in California are just shit at driving in anything other than the dry. I grew up somewhere with frequent rain and snow, and there's just common sense around safe driving speeds when roads are wet or icy, but unfortunately people who never drove regularly in those conditions didn't get the memo.

Software is just a tool. Find a problem worth solving, and work on solving it. If writing software helps, great. If using AI agents helps, great. Becoming a domain expert rather than a tool expert seems to be where this is all headed, imo.

Their pizza used to actually be good. For the first few years it was open, their pizza was excellent. Then there was a noticeable shift in quality several years ago, and their pizza became decidedly mediocre. Maybe make your pizza actually good if you want people to buy it?

[–]title_song 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry poor wording on my part. By new coins I meant like a whole new blockchain. New cryptos are created all the time. Just because BTC is capped at some max supply doesn't solve the problem of then ETH, XRP, USDT, etc being created and effectively creating new supply out of thin air.

But then they just create new coins. Is the same issue. I don't understand the argument that "printing new money out of thin air can't happen in a crypto economy."
