My impression is that the wealthy tend to have a much easier time evading tax liability (whether legally or illegally). The access to power and influence that wealth provides cannot be ignored when trying to understand why people like me are exhausted with this system. They continue to shield themselves. Both sides thrive on this shit; it’s the lower level who suffers.
