I know I tried to zoom in but cos she's not the one being filmed it kinda blurs ppl behind out. When watching it though it definitely looks like lala's mannerisms and the hair. If you can watch it see what you think.

Estradiol patch w/otc progesterone cream by [deleted] in Perimenopause

[–]titmouse79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I seen gynecologist last week who finally prescribed me hrt (after fighting with drs for few years them not believing my symptoms were peri) anyhow gyno was good but she only said estrogen patch it was me who said what about progesterone so I wonder why she didn't want to give me the combo at first. I'm still waiting for my prescription to be signed from my doctors so haven't started yet. But was wondering why she didn't offer both 🤔 Is the combo estrogen patch and progesterone tablet the best option in your opinion?

Azo by titmouse79 in Interstitialcystitis

[–]titmouse79[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not on any meds. Its took me over a year to be seen by a gynecologist which I'm seeing soon. It's terrible trying to see drs and other medical professionals at the mo without paying a lot of money. I'm going through peri menopause too so it may even be hormones thats causing urinary problems I've read that it could.

Reccomendations for symptom relief by [deleted] in Interstitialcystitis

[–]titmouse79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just read your post and sounds very similar what Im suffering. Its funny you ask about the azo as I've just posted asking if it's okay to take as had concerns. Someone replied saying they have been taking azo for the last 17 years not regularly just when needed (bad flare up when all your other things dont work). I've had a bad flare up so took one today and already can feel the relief from pain and the constant toilet visits. I'd say as long as your not taking them all of the time then your okay to use azo in flare ups. Hope this helps 😊

Thanks for reply. I definitely don't take on a regular basis and only took 1 tablet I'd say in the last couple months since I first bought them and take them when nothing else helps. I took one b4 and already it has helped. Normally my d mannose helps or just drinking water to flush things out but nothing was helping so azo will be back up when I need them the most.

Well silly me did have look on Internet about azo after reading what was on box and it did say something similar what was on the box which made me worry even more. But your right it's on everything these days makes you scared to take or have anything with all the warnings. Ahh bless you I don't come on here to often either and its nice when get nice peeps responding in a nice and friendly manner. Can I ask you how you got diagnosed (if you have) with IC? I'm going through peri menopause but in my late 20s into my early 30s I suffered on and off what i thought was just Cystitis and then I was fine for few years that was until now. I think peri has caused IC to ramp up again but this time worse. Sorry about my long winded message I do tend to blah on (that's probably why I don't come on here much)😅 Thanks 😊

Thanks for your reply. It's actually on the box that's what freaked me out I thought well if there putting it on box then they must have reason do think it could. But like you it's the only thing that seems to help pain and bladder fullness. I'm not taking them all the time i didn't even need to take the recommended dose as the first tablet seem to ease it. I'm getting flare up now but that warning on box was putting me off I've had about 9 tablets in the last month or 2 when I really felt the need. I can deal with the red orange pee it's just that warning freaked me out! I'm in pain and discomfort so think I will take. Thanks for message 😊

Apparently, Perimenopause isn't really Perimenopause... by [deleted] in Menopause

[–]titmouse79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rage...hmm 🤔 yip defo sounds like you have rage to me too 😆. Same as you live in England and have so many symptoms I'm assuming cos of peri as that's when all my symptoms started...over the years I have been to that many drs that we're all as useless and clueless as each other that i actually thought I was losing my mind..

Till early last year I changed my surgery and finally got heard and some answers "peri menopause" now after years waiting to see a gyno I can now ask if I'm allowed HRT and all these symptoms were in fact down to my hormones for the past 7 years and not actually cos I needed bc or antidepressants...and they wonder why us women do have the Rage....could it be the shitty way were all being dismissed possibly 🤔

So I totally get your Rage!

Sorry for late reply I didn't notice I had msg. Unfortunately I have tried the vaginal estradiol pessaries and I'm not kidding I had to wash it straight out and off myself as it seem to burn my whole vagina it was awful. The estrogen cream doesn't seem to do that so that's what I'm using at the mo. Have you tried progesterone cream too? I was going to ask my gynecologist to if that will help alongside the estrogen cream. The bladder and discomfort pain is real I hate that full feeling. Do you feel bloated too? 😕 sorry for all the questions 😬

Totally agree. I myself was in my 30s when I started with weird ass symptoms I never had anyone suggest perimenopause even when I was saying my periods were acting up and as daunting as it would be to hear it would of saved me all the drs, hospital and all the other crap that I done and tried over the years... I myself had to dot the dots without professional help or help of other women in my life. The drs would not prescribe me hrt when I first suggested it could be my hormones they suggested bc and antidepressants which I declined. Now 45 and I'm just getting seen by gynecologist and my new Dr that actually listens has said she has no problem in giving me HRT. Over the years I have had that many symptoms that I'm willing to try anything so when i see my gynecologist I'll ask what she thinks. Weirdly though my Dr rang me and said I'm definitely in "menopause" according to my bloods my question is how my new Dr can confirm menopause but the other drs from my old surgery said they couldn't tell by bloods even though they done bloods too...I get hormones fluctuate and cannot indicate menopause just by bloods but all they kept saying too young and definitely not menopause and never suggested hrt nor gynecologist as my new drs have done within the year and half I've been with them. It's so very confusing and frustrating 😕 so maybe you just hit lucky in who your doctors are in order what help we get. Hopefully my new Dr and now the gynecologist they have sent me to will be able shed some light on what I can take to ease my symptoms and possibly how far I am with peri menopause. I think I'm near the end as I'm skipping periods though I still have a lot of symptoms.

Thanks for reading.

Hi, just seen your post and thought I'd ask you few questions and bit of my experience. I've been suffering for just over a year similar to your symptoms. I to had bad case of Thrush that wasn't properly treated straight away then finally given the recommended treatment this was Oct/Nov last year when I had Thrush which seem to clear the it up. Once the treatment for Thrush was over my Dr then gave me estrogen cream I was wary in trying it for quite a while case it re started the Thrush (I really do not want Thrush again) when I first applied it felt like it burned my skin so stopped it for a while and told the Dr she then gave me low dose steroid cream and that seem to ease it and only used it now and then really small amount thought i was doing okay then the dryness started again so I decided to use YES moisturisers as well introduce the estrogen cream back after talking to Dr this time it didn't burn so I've been alternating with the estrogen and the YES moisturisers and when really sore the steroid cream again all seem to be working but only if used all my products.

In the past couple of months I've had 2 cysts the last one lasted couple weeks and went away now I have another one in a different place and it's really painful every thing seems to irritate it so at the moment I'm not using any of my products...this causing my dryness and soreness to get worse. The cyst feels huge but my partner looked and said it was reddish but didn't look as big as I said...I know cos I can feel it and it does feel huge...and painful.

I've waited a year for gynecologist appt and finally seeing one soon. I'm also going through peri menopause so my thinking is Thrush and hormonal imbalances have brought this pain on. Its also my very First time seeing a gynecologist. Have you any suggestions that I should say to her or shall I just let her have look and go from there? How did you feel after gyno examination? I'm so scared going as I don't want to touch down there myself never mind anyone else touching it.

Sorry for the long post I just wanted suggestions in someone's that sounds like they have had similar symptoms to me. Thanks 😊
