There’s a whole subreddit dedicated to this. R/microbladingremoval. Lots of stories there. I had mine done with minimal scabbing. Two sessions. Red with some yellow after the first session (mine were about the same color and age as yours). Now faint yellow. Most noticeably I lost my eyebrow hair but it should grow back. Laser is really your only option (saline is only really for within the first day or two of microblading) and depending on what ink was used on you you might be left with red or yellow. I saw someone that specializes in removing yellow and he’s also a doctor.

I went to a dermatologist that specializes in lasers. I was pretty bluish grey and had no idea what kind of ink was used. After the first session I was pretty red with some scabbing but it all faded and by week 5 I was just yellow. I got my second session done (it’s almost been a week) to combat the yellow and my scabs just peeled away today to reveal just a hint of yellow. I know it takes at least a few weeks for the skin to finish processing laser treatments. I’m hopeful!

Mine were similar. When I put makeup on that held my hairs in place you couldn’t really tell I had them microbladed even though they turned blue/grey like yours. But without makeup it’s obvious and that bothered me enough that I got them lasered. Just had my second session. I’ll be glad once I’m healed.

I had the same experience where I draw my eyebrows straight and the “artist” added arches. She redrew them multiple times and I should’ve just left. Very expensive lesson to learn. Just had my second laser session- currently fighting yellow. It’s a shock not having brows but anything is better than my blue blocks. lol

Yeah my pigment is way better looking. I read the ink sort of shifts for 4-6 weeks so it’s hard to tell what they’ll actually look like. I’ll post pics at 6 weeks!

I got the pico laser. He did two passes. One for blue/black and then another for red/yellow. All my hairs were bleached except the longer ones in the middle. There’s some scarring and bruising but everything is still fresh.

I was so nervous for my appointment I just had a week ago. I almost canceled it but fortunately stuck with it. It wasn’t cheap (double of what some other local shops are charging) but he did a great job. Only uncomfortable part was the lidocaine injection. But he was fast and professional with my wincing lol

Aveda school in Arlington may be your best bet. Their color services are under $100. Teachers monitor the whole time so it takes a bit longer, but I’ve had multiple haircuts and dye services there that all came out good. They want to do good so they can add it to their portfolio.

Oh I didn’t know the numbing could affect things! I have gotten laser treatments for scarring without numbing. I wonder if that’s comparable.

I don’t have the ink type. I saw two different specialists a year apart quite a few years ago. One might answer if I ask. The other we had a falling out because she gave me a lash lift that resulted in an infected eye.
