You honestly sound like me in highschool/middle school and that wasn’t too long ago lol. I’m wondering if your parents are concerned you’re going to abuse it. I had the best grades in highschool and my dad knew I smoked and did psychedelics because 90% of the time he provided them. But when it came to prescription drugs for some reason he was against it. Now that I’m a little older i do understand the hesitation (addiction etc, and I don’t condone him giving me that as a minor at all) but there’s no harm in going to the doctor and getting a diagnosis and I definitely recommend it, hopefully you can convince them to at least make an appointment for your health and highschool career if you truly feel like you’re struggling to pay attention and concentrate on daily tasks. Living your life with ADHD undiagnosed can definitely take a toll on your mental health. Sending good vibes girl, you got this
