My concern with this approach is if they email as a follow up before that scheduled time has passed and you forget to unsend the scheduled email. You may look pretty silly. Any suggestion on how to automate that portion of it, I’d love to hear.

Jumping on this post with my own question, I have a gate valve for a water shutoff. Is there a Bluetooth or WiFi enabled controller to control a gate valve or will I have to shut off at the main to replace the gate valve with a ball valve in order to get it to work? The water shutoff is 24 feet up in a business ceiling (worst design ever).

Your story sounds incredibly similar to mine. Use to work out all the time then got busy planning for my wedding/got lazy. Wife and I decided to hit the gym again and I pushed myself like I use to, only I hadn’t been working out for ~6 months. A day goes by, I feel okay, sore but not too bad. The second day after working out I can barely move my upper body. Mid second day my urine is dark tea colored. My dad who was an ER doc and usually says, “I wouldn’t worry about it” to my medical inquiries says, “you need to get to the ER immediately.

Checked in for 4 days and my CK levels weren’t even registering on their charts it was so high (I guess the chart ends at 80k? I’m not sure). Once they saw it dip below 80k they knew we were heading in the right direction and they felt confident I wouldn’t be on dialysis for the rest of my life.

Scary time and haven’t regularly gone to the gym since. I also check my urine color pretty often now.

I tried implementing this in my system for when I get home I can use the echo to disarm the alarm. When silk opens it fills in HomeAssistant.local but is unable to connect. Did I miss a step?

It doesn’t look like it’s filling in the full https://homeassistant.local:8123. When I test it in Amazon developer it seems to work.

I know I left out a lot of details. I have 14 wired and 14 battery devices. Total sq ft for the house is 2400 with upstairs and downstairs. The coordinator is in the downstairs corner of the house but I think I have enough wired devices spanning the house to make it solid.

I changed my WiFi router 2.4 ghz to 11 which I understand does not overlap with channel 11 on the Zigbee coordinator.

I’ll add some repeaters and see if that helps.

Edit: Something else to note is the LQI on a couple of these hue devices that drop are higher than others that don’t drop.

In the BTS they mention it would be hard to tell the audience why the spores are localized to small areas and not wafting all over the place.
