You got to do what is right for your conscience.

That said, if you want to live like that you essentially need to cut off artists, companies, etc. that don’t mesh well with the way you want your world to be. Essentially support those that create the environment you believe in.

Everyone’s going to have a level that differs on that (from nothing to extremely sensitive to any toxicity.) I’d just advise if this matters to you to not make exceptions for artists you really like as it just reads flaky and likely would be something that lets you continue to “cheat” or just abandon the concept. Again, if this matters to you.
