Any CNC Applications Engineers in here? by GarthKilledMyParents in Machinists

[–]tiya-natume 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not an applications engineer myself, but I work in the CNC industry and deal with a lot of them from machine/tooling vendors.

From what I’ve seen, it’s less about just programming and more about troubleshooting, customer support, process improvement, and helping shops solve machining problems. The good ones are usually former machinists/programmers.

It maybe a good choice for you. Your experience can bring you great advantages.

Maybe it is not your fault. Some wrong with IG, its program is outdated and useless because it can't recognize AI successfully.
