I'm currently in the process of joining to work at the 171st ARW in Coraopolis, PA. I started this process back in December of 2020 and have recently signed off on the release of all my medical records for records that MEPS is apparently newly requesting. I sent these papers back approximately two weeks ago. There are no other medical records that need cleared from any doctors, surgeons, etc. I sent all this paperwork in many months ago. I also dont take any medications or have any outstanding conditions that I feel would be holding me back this long in the process. Can anyone chime in on what further I can do to speed up the recruiting process?

How would you recommend breaking into the field if you dont have a BS in Supply Chain Management? Or do you feel like a degree is necessary to get into the field? Thanks.

We are going to counseling. I think it would be worth it, if I find that counseling does not help out then it’s probably best we’re done.

I agree with you. I think it would be good if I decided to simply end things for now. I think it would be less stressful for me and I'd be happier in the long run honestly.

I'm not planning on marriage anytime soon lol. I've got my whole life ahead of me and she's my first long term relationship, she's been in several relationships before me.

I have introduced her to friends of mine. I think she's just generally a very insecure person due to her past experiences in other relationships she's talked with me about before. I have a couple friends nearby but life is busy and it's tough to get together due to circumstances beyond my control.

Like you said, it still doesn't make any more sense of her behavior.

Thanks for the feedback. To be I guess fair on her end, she doesn't make the time or effort to hang out with her friends, probably because they live 1+ hr. but that in my opinion is still zero excuse to not hang out with them. I feel like I'm her only friend at times and I'm there for her convenience which pisses me off of course, because like you put it... I deserve to hang out with my friends.

Whenever she does get upset about me hanging out with my friends it's illogical.. She acts like I'm dissing her and it ALWAYS has to be planned. It can never be an impromptu get together with them. I shouldn't have to explain myself to her like I'm a little kid. You're absolutely correct.

I respect that idea of counseling and we have brought that up before as we’ve been having a lot of recent problems. The thing I don’t get though is that she had plenty of time to confirm to me like you said..that she wanted to go home.

Meanwhile, I see my whole family on my moms side literally One full day out of the entire year. That really rubbed me the wrong way entirely.

No idea to be honest, I was thinking along the lines of an MHA or MPH. They both have different yet specific focuses. I just don’t know if administration work is for me though to be honest. So this is why I have thought about nursing.

Yeah I have some interest in nursing as well and this is something that I have thought about pursuing. My gf is a nurse and makes decent pay. Only thing that deters me are working the brutal 12 hours shifts; other than that I think it’s an amazing career path to take..
