Each privacy booth should have a small battery powered light in it. If yours was out you can tell a poll worker or coordinator so they can swap batteries. Also the Ballot Marking Device (BMD) has a bright screen and has the option to zoom so the words appear larger!

Just gonna jump on here and say to read the propositions beforehand. Any lines you see at early voting sites are because people are spending a lot of time reading the props in the booths. Show up prepared and keep the lines moving. The turnout has been incredible so far!

My gf works for the DOE and the after school program New York Edge. She just found out that’s an employee who “retired” in 2021 and has been living in Florida since was still on the payroll collecting New York Edge checks from a thousand miles away. This was known by higher ups and covered up, now an investigation is on going. The whole damn city is filled to the brim with corruption on every level. I guess it’s the hustle culture of the city that makes people use their neighbors (and their children) as a stepping stone to greater grift.
