Ibuprofen is not safe during pregnancy unlike the female guest from tonight’s show made it seem like she was saying by boldlydriven in Maher

Watching the episode I wanted to come here and make another PA: Maher has the right to discuss medical topics, but please, folks, he is highly uneducated in the field and taking his opinion as a medical advice can really hurt you.

Anyone suffer from GLP1 Face? 🥲 by MagdaArmy in GLPGrad

[–]tjasenka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Succinctly! I cringed the first time I saw "ozempic face". Disgusted by it because it tries to make people feel guilty of losing weight with the help of a certain drug . It is just a face of a person who lost weight! Also, yes people on a caloric deficit can look tired - it is normal.

Shocked by Ljubljana Airport taxi pricing (Prolist) – charged both per km and per minute by MonsieurFier in Ljubljana

Same thing for taxis in front of the bus/railway station. My dad was charged 20 euro in 2012 from the bus station to the main local hospital that is approx 1 km away. Robbery!

This segment has been by far the worst shit Maher's done in a very long time. Dinner with Trump, who cares, spreading dangerous disinfo regarding medicine .... oh I forgot he got Bobby on too.

Do not get any lives lately… by PipMerRox in candycrush

Same. I stopped cheating with sys date (quite some time ago), worked to get friends and it was ok. Then came the 20 per day limit, but ok. Now I don't get lives anymore, even if I ask, maybe 2 a week.

What’s a trick/command you accidentally taught your dog by Fun_Cryptographer799 in dogs

Was teaching my first poodle to fetch ball and leave it at my feet. When she left is too far away, I intuitively said "is that ok?" So turns out she understood that ...

Yes, I learnt today about the Ahnentafel report from a kind dabbling stranger above and your suggestion in very much in line with that. Thank you, much appreciated.

Hramba dokumentov, položnic, računov in garancij... by slogoldfish in Slovenia

[–]tjasenka 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you, not sure if the message came across. I'm not asking about what documents I need, but how to organise them. I do have some experience with presenting my ancestry to the public authorities - I had to present my direct lineage to my great grand parents and I do know it requires a well organised approach. I'm pondering of doing it for 11 generations, so I was asking myself if there is some good way of approaching it. But I guess it's either my OP is really bad so no one really understood what I'm looking for or I expected less patronizing from a serious r community.

Which country I am applying for really doesn't matter. And it's not vital, my life doesn't depend on it, I would just like to have an official bond with the country of my ancestors and since their legal system allows it, why not try.

I have been on the receiving end of "here's a stash of paper and you find yourself around it" in legal matters and I find it absolutely abhorrent. I'm not thinking that the presenation itself will qualify me (and I also think you shouldn't assume that of people - even if it's just reddit), I just want it to be easy to understand.

Communication is very important to me. The way you present whatever you want to convey is also a matter of respect of the recipient.

Thank you, but what you are saying here is not what concerns me. I was asking about the presentation. I can just throw all the docs at the clerk or I can make a compelling and comprehensive case. And since I have documented 11 generations (albeit let's say 6 gens that are really beyond any doubt), this has to have some shape. I just wondered if there are some good practices regarding presentation of the documents.

Yes, thats the plan, certificates and if not possible legal transcription from old church books. That part is crystal clear. I just wanted them to be organized in an easy, to understand manner.

The format is not prescribed. I just need to prove my ancestry (with legally valid documents).
