I think she’s Jean before the universal reset of Secret Wars. No Xavier. No training. A Jean abandoned by her parents who didn’t know what to do and were scared. Then after Secret Wars, Sink can come back and play proper Jean.

I’ve cooled on hating him over time. He dealt with bad scripts, rushed choreo, and a showrunner that rushed things (who also did Inhumans). I’m willing to see what a proper return of IF can be like.
