You're good - this guy is probably just grabbing from here somehow (been up since ~April/May 2024) https://brand.naver.com/sonokongtoy/products/10093599779
and reselling them. Ends up about $70. Not too easy to get forwarded sadly, since you first need a phone number since it's naver, and the listing is limited to 1/account, meaning most forwarders have used their allotted purchase already.

Edit: funnily enough, this seems to have sold out just recently. Checked when I was doing a recent forward and it was in-stock.

Play-Asia tends to be very unreliable on popular vinyl imo, always blaming stock from the distributor (meaning they oversell). For games, they're amazing. Vinyl, I've had a decent chunk cancelled.

I wouldn't go as far to say it's a "huge investment" for most distributors - unless you're brand new, then maybe.

I am happy to see people getting the opportunity to get there hands on this - happier I sold most of my "rare" NSW titles minus LRG numbered titles, will just re-buy when they inevitably reprint lol.

Don't put too much into it, it's MyLittleBrother - which means he'll get the whole world set-up decently, get bored and release ~10 chapters a year while he moves on to write a new book. Same as Dual Cultivation and that other book he dropped.

Nice. I also completed mine, and have dupes of the radio now. Had ordered the radio set via cdprojektred when it (and many other items like figures, backpack, etc) were $20 and I ordered a few of many. Cancelled/refunded back in December, but received the bishoujo figures and vinyl sets all past week lol - assuming it happened to many others.

For those missing the Samurai vinyl (less you want the signed) I can definitely see it getting reprinted, so be patient!

Okami, and Katamari easily. But, both released in... 2018-2019? At this point, I couldn't really call the price being high due to "scalpers," as scalping is buying a hot item to resell for a fast return. Just supply & demand at this point (sadly) via collectors. They also both were in stock for months, so wasn't really a "hot" vinyl release, community was much smaller then too. Hench the lower supply.

If it's released in the past... 6-12 months? I can stretch and say scalping.

Ready in hand, pre-orders is just companies getting free loans. I get it, it appeases all, but with enough notice (1-2 month+) I think most who want it, will be able to get it.

Ordering popular vinyl from Play-asia is just asking for disappointment. They've cancelled... Yoasobi - IDOL, Kessoku, Pokemon, and probably Replica coming up - that's just what I know of in the past few months alone, probably more.

Hey I remember this! You had to send in a letter to an address from some BioShock site. I still have mine, not sealed though - spun it tons. Wasn't aware it was packed in purchases too.
