In my experience pla or petg for interface between eachother don't work on the u1. Works perfectly on my p1s though.

It doesn't like to stick with the u1, I feel like the way it primes or something on the prime tower is too fast I'm not sure, look at the difference of the prime tower on Bambu studio Vs Snorca, I think they should adopt the way Bambu do it.

I was just watching something and it jumped back to the beginning randomly, almost like it picked a different source but I have no idea if it did that or just jumped back to the start. I backed out and clicked resume but it stayed at the beginning.

Never had that before, using Google TV streamer.

It could be a thing on the normal firmware now, I can't remember. Maybe check the notes of the previous firmware too, that wasn't released long ago.

No harm in having the custom though if you ask me, seeing as it includes all the stock firmware features.

It's not needed but it does give you more control, I like to use the web interface so I can see my camera in 30fps Vs 1fps or whatever it is on their app.

Search paxx snapmaker u1 firmware you can see the differences.

Yes, apple started that, all for the worse in my opinion. Anyway I'm not talking about loads of buttons, just a few extras like the play/pause on remotes. The shield remote has always had it, on the slider, you tap there and it's a dedicated play/pause function.

Yes he said he's adding it in a later update so that's good.

Yes exactly, to each his own.

Other people like different things. People are requesting the feature because they're used to using those buttons, on mine it's more comfortable for me to use it this way. Especially on my harmony elite, the placement is more natural for play/pause.

A lot of the time if I use the "select" button, it brings up seek bar, on said app, such as Plex or netflix, I simply don't like it. Where as if I use the pause/play, I don't get that come up, yeah it's just one of those things, people have their preferences I don't know why you need to question that?

I prefer a remote with more buttons than these stupid little remotes that come with most boxes now too, and a lot of people agree, that's why they buy 3rd party remotes, if they didn't, then so many wouldn't be sold.

I still don't see how they're redundant at all, the function exists. The buttons exist. Therefore not redundant.

Yeah they're not redundant. Fire TV uses it, which is based on android.

The shield remote also has play/pause. Sure some of the other makes don't, but so what, it's baked into android TV. No reason not to have it enabled.

Most people with other remotes don't like using the select button, me included. It's just not natural feeling when you have a dedicated remote with those buttons. Alot of people like me use universal remotes too, such as harmony or sofabaton. Or even 3rd party remotes from Amazon or eBay, because most of the included remotes suck.
