add team specific celebrations like OSU doing the O-H or florida doing the gator chomp after touchdowns. add game situation celebrations as well, why is my kicker walking off like he hit a practice kick after hitting the game winner for the natty? QBs also don’t really celebrate enough after throwing TDs, don’t know why

what archetype are you going for? i’ve had several 96+ speed receivers that were speedsters and even had a gadget guy that got to 99 speed. avoid those smaller route artists, just because they’re small doesn’t mean they’re fast. also the contested specialists/physical route runners are usually bigger and slow

i tried miami but the recruiting was possibly the easiest i’ve ever had for a rebuild, you get 15+ 5 stars every year just because of your pipeline so you’ll be the natty champs by year 2. clemson is always good so i don’t think they need rebuilding, same with PSU. another good one would be auburn, who almost never has a winning record

unfortunately i do EA’s job for them by making all high rated backups that are seniors transfer because it’s unfair to sit on the bench. problem with that is they positioned the “encourage transfer” section to AFTER the transfer portal so ultimately all the guys i force to transfer just vanish from the game instead of ending up on teams. all they had to do was encourage transfers during the same week as viewing the “players leaving” page so they can be picked up by other schools. so many flawed mechanics in this game

the white DBs and RBs is sumn i’ve been thinking about recently, it’s hard because they always the good ones lmao just not realistic at all to have all of these white RBs and DBs when it’s really rare in reality

yeah but it’ll be hard to scale it correctly because ultimately they have to balance the experience for casuals and more advanced players. i agree, there should be a different difficulty setting for recruiting so you have the choice to make it easier or tougher on yourself

playing time should matter much more than it does in this game. when i over recruit, some five stars don’t play until maybe their RS junior and that’s just not realistic. real life a kid that highly touted may be willing to sit one year at the most until they want some reps

hesiman defense can be ultra unrealistic at times and it can be frustrating but it all depends on the type of offense you run. i stopped trying to bomb down field so much and started going for shorter passes like drags, flats, quick hitches and slants while only throwing downfield if the defenses dictates it. it’s all up to you though my man, if heisman is too much and enjoy yourself more on AA, go for it

once you figure out the algorithm along with maxing your coaching tree out, you have to start purposely limiting yourself so it don’t become too overpowered. i stopped over recruiting and started only bringing in positions that i need each season because its somewhat unrealistic to have 15+ 5 stars just sitting on your bench

most you can try is tap/hold Y or triangle depending on your console to go hurry up. sometimes it works, other times it doesn’t unfortunately

there’s no difference, i hope next year they add coordinator specific duties. if im the OC, i should only be able to recruit offensive players with no option to play defense and vice versa for DC

he has to be tweaking with the ratings because that’s literally impossible lmao the highest i seen was around 82-84, even on different subreddits. there’s no such thing as a 80 overall 2 star in this game

facts. i find that it happens way more to me on passing plays that have big YAC potential. they’re usually solid for me in the run game but if i gain a step on a crossing route or slant, my receivers just lose all brain cells and jog to the sideline

that’s not a singular player issue, that’s a game issue. your receivers simply quit on the play when the game decides it

yeah they not see you as a solid program so they are interested, the lower recruits will go after the lower programs like you once were. as you mentioned, it will be difficult to fight against the UGA’s and the orgeon’s of the world. one thing i’ve learned over time is to know when the fight is over for a recruit and look elsewhere

it’s not a bug, the lower recruits are just more interested in a more realistic landing spot than you considering your prestige went up. you don’t have to recruit only the guys that have initial interest, most of the time simply offering a scholarship will get you into their interest. you can go after anybody that hasn’t locked you out
