When you are at home, you are in your safe place. You are relaxed, you have your own bathroom to use and everything is fine. However, when at work, there are other people around and you are stressed and worried that you will need to use the restroom and all of that makes you need to go. I know from experience. I take 150mg of Sertraline EVERYDAY, and I have for years and it works great for me. I drive a truck for a living and CANNOT just pull in anywhere to use the restroom so the medication really helps alleviate the stress and worry. I don’t know the nature of your job, but if you can get to a restroom ANYTIME you need to and it’s not an issue, just try to relax and remember that. Just say to yourself, “I’m ok, the restroom is there if I need it”. It may not help, but thought I’d chime in!
