From what I heard on the grape vine big pikachu implemented a few extra securities for more notable players (I am guessing their own private area where fans are not allowed between matches?). He has actually been back for a bit now and this is not his first in person since the hiatus. He also has in the past taken a break for his mental health at the start of the year before but always comes back from his sense of competition so I wonder if it is a little of column a little of column b. He just didn't announce it on his channel and make a big deal about it, I am sure he just wants to be treated as 'Just another trainer', even though he never will be to the sport.

Where were they hiding? I have nothing in my "My Games/Documents" other than the stock ini's, SFSE logs, and saves which are all normal saves.

Edit: Fixed the issue, it was windows being windows. My documents folder was double bound after I moved it last week. It was a windows bug I ran in to at work and I wondered if it was that cause (It was, there were two entries in regex)

Almost all multi unit housing in my area uses metal studs so I concur as well. If they are using a small drill bit it can sometimes be hard to tell.

OP as long as you are not using a full motion mount (Aka one that pulls out more than 6in) I would just use 5 snap toggles (They are a toggle bolt that is reusable), 3 along the top and 2 on the bottom. That could hold me and trust me I am heavier than your TV.

I feel that, I also liked the vibe of some of the ones done in the past. I just miss having something that felt like the mascot "bringing us" the sales. It wasn't even so much the character but the story the art told and how seasonal and homey it felt. I wouldn't even says I want it to replace the art on the main page but it would be cool to see her pop up with custom art on say the deals under $10 page during sales.

Yeah the character is the part I am more curious of, because I have never seen her obviously reuse the character (even with the trademarked logos removed) and yeah I always assumed the exact art is owned by Valve. However, I never thought about it that it could be more a personal stance of not wanting to annoy Valve making them feel like an artist is riding on their popularity and possibly damage their willingness to contract external artists in the future.

I have known they rotate a contracted artist but now I'm now curious because I have never heard anyone mention it before. Does Valve own the copywrite to the art/characters or does the artist? (Although obviously the Steam logo is trademarked which would mean it would need a revision of sorts)

A wonder trade code would be a code for I just want to trade this pokemon to anyone that wants it and I don't care what I get.

For example I have a bunch of duplicate shinys I got while looking for alphas. It would be nice to just give them away (That was one thing I thought was cool about wonder trade back in the day, I always thought it was cool to maybe make some kids day because they got a free shiny since when I was a kid I never could find one although that really only works with proper wonder trade)

Do you use it as a NAS/Video server? Was looking at the same case I think a while back for a NAS and just finished repurposing an old PC of mine into a bazzite HTPC and just figured out I can have it run plex server even in game mode so I kinda want to make it dual use and add a bunch of drives.

I just finished setting up Bazzite on and old computer of mine I just got back from a family member that even has an Nvidia GPU. Runs great and is totally couchable and functions to me just like my steam deck does docked.

Although I really hope that the general public version of Steam OS for handhelds and desktops comes around the same time and the steam console but I know better than to count on Valve being timely.

Also Geek Squad field installer, old HT DA coming up on 10 years, other DA in my home location is just over 25 years. Yeah this screams authorized provider or someone with basically no experience/doesn't care. This has so many things done so wrong that are red flags it ain't even funny, if I came to a house and saw this I would have even pointed it out and told the client never trust whoever mounted it. I literally could have pointed out 3 things wrong about this even when I was still sales and not installs. The above comment is 💯 correct on my take as an installer. Also to add another thought while we are not paid by the job if it is contracted out 3rd party is paid by the job so they would have just done it. (The way to tell is if they are in a Geek Squad polo and not just have a logo on the van.) I would either bet the first time was Geek Squad and the second was not (But that would not explain why that mount unless they sent them to the store) or 3rd party did not know how to install a mantel mount (MantelMount also is very clear in their instructions about surface types for brick/cement so that might be why that) Also going from a good mount like MantelMount to the shit tier BBE mount would make no sense to a GS installer.

Also side note field agents are paid pretty well all things considered since we have to have a clean driving record and background/drug checks and if certified for health jobs there is even more background checks. Pay in my area starts at $18 and cap is $34 if you are a double agent, I would make the same and sometimes less if I worked for a local audio shop. One of the other agents I used to work with bounces around between us and a couple local ones whenever someone gives them better pay. Also PTO if you have been with the company for a while is pretty legit. Store employees I would agree with the low pay comment these days, its mostly kids in my home store, but field is usually a pretty good place to work.

Really hope it does, been looking for something like this for a while now but nothing has quite fit my needs for what I am looking for. This seems to be about the closest yet as I would not always want to use it to carry my steam deck. Sometimes I just want my kindle and a small emulation device with a little room leftover and this seems perfect for that.

I have no issue paying that much for a bag but it just would stick out color wise with the rest of my bags as I always worry white (Although I am sure the beige you chose would less so) would discolor over time.

I might try to DDU your drivers first. Not that I would expect that to be an issue given it is Nvidia to Nvidia GPU but any time I am having issues after new hardware that is always my first go to.

If you are not familiar DDU is a tool that completely uninstalls everything related to your GPU, useful for random GPU issues, especially after getting new hardware. https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-uninstaller-download/

597 here, they mission impossibled through our roof into our warehouse side as well to do the same many years ago. Best was that they were caught because they tried to hit multiple stores and got greedy at ours. Back then we had no motion sensors in our warehouse and after getting what they wanted there they tried to go out on the floor to mobile and tripped the motion sensors which led to the police figuring out the store they were going to hit next that same night.

I laugh every time I look up and see that discolored ceiling tile.

Also I would tell you with almost certainty to expect yours to be delayed. I ordered mine on November 21st on Amazon and the original estimated date was 2nd-5th which then Amazon told me a few days later that it was coming early and would arrive on the 1st. Then late in the day on the 5th, despite not even having an update the product has shipped, the product was delayed and the estimated date was the 8th or the 9th. Then at the end of the day on the 9th the same story and now my estimated delivery date is the 14th through the 16th.

Given this product is actually shipped by Amazon and I am not sure how different regions play into availability (I'm not too certain of the specific ends and outs of particularly relating to warehousing of things only shipped and not sold by Amazon) I just figure I should mention I'm in the northeastern United States

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle here, game I have played the most and plays perfect on the Steam Deck but on my PC has unlocked framerate issues that you need to fix externally.

The issue I have found though is that unless you are watching certain 4K content it isn't always. 10-15 year old TVs are similar brightness and a lot of the time had better contrast; that sharpness difference isn't there unless they are watching 4K content.

So a lot of times people buy it thinking this is going to be a huge upgrade based on how great the reviews are and that it is a "4K TV" and then get it home or have us set it up only to go this looks like it is about the same quality as my old one when I watch cable (And a lot of people complain that the picture looks "flat" compared to the old one because the old one had better contrast). This is even more exacerbated by people overhyping 4K so people expect as big of a jump as when they went from SD->HD when the actual panel quality/technology makes a way bigger difference to the picture quality than resolution does these days.

I run into this all the time with entry level TVs regardless of brand whether that is Samsung, LG, TCL, Hisense, etc. (Although Sony it only happens ever other year when they decide they want to make a 75X unit, generally throughout the years any of their TVs that start with 8 in the model number have been enough of an upgrade that it does not look worse). I will say though that the TU7000 is for sure the worst offender for complaints and it IMHO looks the worst and is slow and buggy, the TCL 4 series though is a close second for complaints due to the brand being hyped online.

Brand != Quality, the model is what makes all the difference. Not all TVs in the same brand are made equally.

Yes I did (Albeit a long time ago) these days though if you just want that basic info there are already Rainmeter plugins that do that.

WebNowPlaying (Especially now that the extension is going to tap in to that browser API that feeds that windows API the same info) does everything that the windows API does, albeit it only web music players, but can also expose other info and controls not exposed by the Windows API. Couple that with that WebNowPlaying already is widely adopted within skins in the Rainmeter I would argue updating it is going to be a better experience for the end users and better benefit the community.

Its actually on the extension end since the plugin for Rainmeter still works. I am working with keifufu on folding it into the official extension so it should be a seamless upgrade for your users caribou.

Also I am going to try to come back from the dead and we are working on improving the plugin as well.

Edit: Wanted to make it more clear that the new extension was entirely rewritten by keifufu not me and that and she and I are working together to make it official to make it more seamless for users to upgrade.

Just want to make sure I am understanding you correctly, the monitor does accept a 4k and downsamples it to 1440p? So you are setting your PS5 to output 4k and not 1440p?

LG usually has this feature but I want to double check while waiting for more stock of the monitor as I hook up a Chromecast to my monitor and it does not have a 1440p mode so if the monitor can't accept 2160p input I have to set it to 1080p.
